I need some advice.

Me F30 and my husband M31 have been bickering back-and-forth about small petty things. We love each other very much, but can’t seem to let small things go and get hung up on them. We spoke about marriage counseling, but we have a very young child and our finances are a little tied up right now.

Is there anything that you could advise us to do in the meantime to help our marriage? I would love any advice on how to communicate better and do our own sort of counseling at home until we’re able to get the time to go. Please let me know what helped you or what you can advise.

In search of friends in East Bay

At the risk of coming off too vulnerable, here I am. I live in East Bay and I haven’t found a person or group to connect with. I’ve tried bumble BFF, the app for platonic friends, but i didn’t find anyone that I really clicked with. I’m open to meeting girls and queer guys that live in Richmond, Pinole, Hercules, El Cerrito, Berkeley, and Emeryville. I don’t mind mom friends or people in relationships.

I’m 30F, and a student, getting my masters for speech therapy. I love living life. I love all that the bay has to offer. My days are spent romanticizing everything in my life, whether that be something casual like Pilates or exciting like concerts. I’m a big foodie and I love to host at my place. Im heterosexual and I do have a partner, but I’m looking to expand my life with really cool people who don’t mind putting themselves out there to meet new people, form new connections, and try new things!

After years of being pretty private and being the loner type, I’m regretting not forging these bonds with people earlier, and I’ve been hearing a lot of people say the same thing online. So here’s to me putting myself out there. I’m very easy going and I have a lot to give. I just feel like I’m running the same rat race everyday without someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of. If you’re interested in meeting a new person feel free to DM me.
