Tamiya 1/32 Zero and Corsair together

My two favorite models and it’s crazy how much bigger the Corsair is to the zero. Anyone thinking about any of Tamiya’s 1/32 …, they are great. I think the zero is my favorite and I might just build the other one with the green paint scheme. Cheers.

Tamiya 1/32 Corsair with indoor pics (2)

A contributer here told me about how the sun effects the lighting on the model so I added 2 from indoors. Sorry for the redundancy

Tamiya 1/32 Corsair completed

This model was a lot of fun. My goal was to always have a dirty plane that looked like it was constantly being used in action. I think I accomplished that and maybe too much with it. I hope you like it.

Tamiya 1/350 Prince of Wales question

Hi modelers. I’m preparing for my first ship build, after sticking with mainly armor and planes. I saw a video on a guy, that put LED lights in a Bismarck and I just got to do it now. it looks so cool and with a little planning doesn’t seem too difficult. Does anyone know a source to buy modelling led lights and wiring? I could reach out to the YouTuber but I don’t think he resides in the US. Anyways, I’m still finishing my Corsair and I have two other smaller boat models to practice on. please check out my profile and the models I’ve posted. cheers

Tamiya 1:32 Corsair “Birdcage”

Making a little progress here n there. have a few seams I need to address and probably due to builder error.

Iwata Eclipse HP-CS , previous H&S user

I started off with the H&S Ultra 2024 and really liked that brush but sold it and went for the H&S Infinity CR Plus 2024. I found the H&S Infinity, too much brush for me and too finicky on paints, so I sold it. I bought the Iwata and I’m extremely happy with the versatility. I kinda mix paints by feeling and this brush just lays it down even if I’m off with the ratios. Great brush for model making. Nothing wrong with H&S but this airbrush is a workhorse and easy to use . Me like alot

Curvature of the spine and balance issues and fixes

Hi folks, I’m a high handicap player closing in on breaking a 100 and hopefully even in the 80-90’s with hard practice. I have always struggled with bad posture having scoliosis. My chin tends to jut out past my face without me correcting it. If you are like me, are you struggling with balance and inconsistency ? I certainly have. I tend to find myself falling towards the ball during the down swing, or even with my weight shift forward , it’s not towards the target. If your head weighs about 10 pounds which is about average…,it’s definitely gonna impact your swing and pull you towards the ball if you are not aware of it. Here are some tips that have helped me. First, buy a cheap tripod for your phone so that you can film and analyze your swing motions. I was so amazed at how far my spine , neck and head were out of line. From there, I try practicing barefoot and by raising my toes during my practice swings. it will help with your balance. I now make concerted effort to keep my chin in and spine as straight as I can and I have noticed an increase in consistency and no more falling into the ball or off balance. I highly recommend get a tripod for your phone and just film practice swings. Everyone’s body is different and we need to adjust our motion with our age and abilities. I hope this helps.

just a few pics of progress… flaps down attached and bomb bay complete minus weathering and some minor painting. left engine will be closed up and the other open when I’m done. sorry about pic quality as this model is big!
