Zero chill French

I use Vinted occasionally to purchase some t-shirts etc. No selling. My wife uses it a good bit more and also sells on it.

We get zero mobile data connection at home and our WiFi was down today for around 12 hours so she obviously couldn't respond to messages/offers, but it obviously sold at full price in the meantime and the buyer went on to abuse my wife.

It gave us a laugh. She blocked her too so can't even report. They are so dramatic 😂

Victim to AI DIY

Toilet had been running water into the bowl constantly, for longer than I'd like to admit.

Got around to attempting a DIY fix after Google Gemini told me it was likely a washer and a fairly simple fix.

Shut off water at the mains, got the washer out, got replacement at local DIY shop, didn't fix it.

Should have stopped there. No, AI Gemini talks me into trying one or two more steps before calling in the 'professionals'.

Another trip to woodies to now replace the whole bottom entry plastic fill valve.

Fitted that, thought grand, turned on the supply at the mains and water feckin everywhere. Tried to tighten everything up and it was still the same.

I admitted defeat at that stage, left the mains off overnight and organised a plumber for today who got everything sorted fairly quick thank god.

I won't be using AI for DIY again
