The 12 Spiritual Shifts

The 12 Spiritual Shifts

Loving Them Without Losing You

When someone you love is struggling with addiction, it's easy to put your entire life on hold.

You wait for the phone to ring. You worry. You hope. You pray. You try to fix what was never yours to fix.

But healing doesn't mean you stop loving them.

It means learning that you can love them deeply while still taking care of yourself.

That is why I created the 12 Spiritual Shifts—a path designed to help families move from fear, panic, guilt, and emotional exhaustion toward peace, healthy boundaries, self-trust, and healing.

These shifts are not about changing your loved one.

They are about changing the way addiction impacts your life.

✨ Releasing Control

✨ Hope Beyond Fear

✨ Surrendering Panic

✨ Honest Self-Reflection

✨ Telling the Truth

✨ Releasing Old Patterns

✨ Transforming Pain Into Wisdom

✨ Repairing What Chaos Harmed

✨ Wise Restoration

✨ Returning to Alignment

✨ Inner Guidance and Peace

✨ Sharing Hope Without Losing Yourself

You can support their recovery without sacrificing your own peace.

You can set boundaries without abandoning them.

You can have hope without carrying the weight of their choices.

Because recovery is not only for the person struggling with addiction.

Healing is available for the people who love them, too.

12 Spuritual Shifts Workbook for Families of Loved Ones in Addiction

💜 WHEN SOMEONE YOU LOVE IS STRUGGLING, WHO TAKES CARE OF YOU? 💜

Addiction affects more than the person using.

It affects the mother lying awake at night wondering if her child is safe.

The spouse who keeps hoping things will change.

The grandparent trying to hold the family together.

The sibling carrying worry they never talk about.

The friend who feels helpless watching someone they love self-destruct.

For a long time, I believed that if I could just do more, say more, give more, or love more, I could somehow change the outcome.

What I learned instead was this:

You can love someone with your whole heart and still allow them to be responsible for their own choices.

You can support someone without rescuing them.

You can set boundaries without abandoning them.

You can stop carrying what was never yours to carry.

My journey inspired me to create the Loving Them Without Losing You the Facebook community and workbook.

Inside you'll find:

✨ Encouragement for the hard days

✨ Tools for setting healthy boundaries

✨ Journal prompts for healing and self-discovery

✨ Support from others who truly understand

✨ Hope when things feel hopeless

Recovery isn't only about the person struggling with addiction.

Families need healing too.

If you've ever loved someone caught in addiction, this community was created with you in mind.

Loving Them Without Losing You

For years, I believed loving someone meant fixing them, rescuing them, worrying about them, and carrying burdens that were never mine to carry.

That belief nearly broke me, several times.

Their addiction was the substance. Mine was trying to fix and control them.

What I eventually learned is that healing isn't about loving someone less. It's about loving yourself enough to stop losing yourself in the process.

That journey inspired me to write my book, Loving Them Without Losing You and to create the 12 Spiritual Shifts for families affected by addiction, chaos, and codependency.

I recently made a group on Facebook called - Loving Them Without Losing You.

It is a place for parents, grandparents, spouses, siblings, friends, and anyone who loves someone struggling with addiction or destructive behaviors with:

✨ Daily encouragement

✨ Boundary and recovery tools

✨ Journal prompts and self-reflection

✨ Honest conversations

✨ A supportive community that understands

💜 You can love them.

💜 You can't save them.

💜 But you can choose you.
