yamada in japanese kanji is 山田 and tayama in kanji is 田山. thats why goto thought sasaki was talking about yamada and not tayama when they first met. it's the exact same name but spelled backwards.

people complain that charles needs to get nerfed but they're just ignoring that gojo has three block breaks and he has the best special in the game. at least charles's main mechanic requires skill to land GOJOS MECHANIC IS BEING A BUM

unrelated image but like can we mutually agree as a fandom that each class of 09 game (class of '09, class of '09: the re-up, class of '09: the flip side, and that puzzle game whenever it comes out) is a different canon than every other class of 09 game?

my reasoning:

1. jecka can actually get a good ending. the flip side doesnt give jecka a single good ending and agreeing that each game is a different canon allows her to live a decent life post-game in at least two of the games.

2. the endings where nicole dies can actually work. nicole in the base game and the re-up both have endings where nicole dies which would make the flip side not possible because shes dead. having different canons makes it technically possible for every ending to be canon in some timeline even if it makes the flip-side not possible in that games lore.

3. the weird ass nicole and jeckas dad thing doesnt have to have happened. that was weird as shit i dont feel like talking about it we can just like not have that be canon in the majority of the games.

before anyone says something like "but the backrooms are dangerous" they're way safer than you'd think. apparently the main species there, the still lifes, are usually not dangerous and are >!edible i guess. !<

the backrooms by nature are mostly calm office spaces with little to no living creatures residing in it. the things that aren't the offices? usually buildings that people who entered it remember and the occasional still life.

i personally can't think of anything that'd really make me go insane in it. i would just find a house-looking area and befriend a still life.

and yeah i know about the bacteria or the lifeform whatever yall wanna call it. if that thing finds me i have bigger issues because i've been making too much noise so theres already something chasing me. i'm a quiet person it'd have no reason to find me.

just saying theres no reason why the backrooms wouldn't be an ideal place to be.
