Tags dropdown/search

I tag documents with multi-word tags - 'industry, craftworking, production' is one. Of course I can't always remember the first word of the tag so if all I can think of is 'craft' I have to search the tag list, which turns it up.

It would be nice to have a 'tag search' dropdown which showed 'all tags including craf'. It might produce a long list but the right one would be there. The present 'all tags beginning with indu' looks like a standard Windows function.

Barbarians and power

Not sure if this belongs here, but I'm interested in finding out more about how (mostly Germanic) groups on the borders of the Roman empire gained their leaders, and then moved to positions of authority in Roman societies. Has anyone written about this? - applied 'anthropological principles/research' to the changing society of the fifth century?

I'd appreciate a book list, if there is one! I haven't had much luck searching bibliographies, etc. myself.

How was power/authority built in late antique barbarian societies?

Ennodius, anyone?

First, I’m not sure Magnus Felix Ennodius qualifies here, but anyway - I’m interested in his writings from an historical point of view. I think his poetry is in English but does anyone know of a translation of his letters, please?
