So Samuel was silently released over a month ago and it has sold a few times and had a few hundred pages read on kindle. Thank you for all of your support, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for all of the kind people on this thread.
If anybody uses kindle and wants a copy of my first book Denzel - The rift then I have one spare kindle copy that I can send via e-mail. This is first come first served basis as I literally only have a single one left.
All in readiness for the sequel book called Samuel. I'm currently 10 chapters in to writing Samuel after how much I enjoyed writing The Rift last year and seeing it actually released and even better actually read by people other than friends and family.
I've been writing for years and had a KDP account for 5 years. Started multiple different books from super powered teenagers to a book called 500 days of summer among others. I started the rift early last year and got more and more involved with Denzel and his story. 5 drafts later and multiple edits I got to the point of let's just go for it. Last month was release day and after a month later I've sold in Germany UK and USA.
As soon as I saw that Germany one chime through my whole world lifted and I'm so grateful I'm starting to reach multiple countries. Let's hope the momentum keeps going whilst I work on my second novel.
So after reading through other people's books and going through my proof copy I've been able to drop my book from 530 pages down to 416 pages.
Thanks to everyone for all their help :)

What if the house you bought was hiding something that should never have been found?
Denzel thought buying a home with his childhood sweetheart, Suzie, would be the start of a new chapter in their lives.
He was wrong.
Hidden beneath the house is something impossible. Something that shouldn't exist. And once Denzel discovers the truth, he finds himself caught in a mystery involving time, forgotten secrets, and people who will do anything to protect the past.
The deeper he digs, the more he realises that some events were never meant to be remembered.
The Rift is a time-travel mystery packed with twists, secrets, humour and questions about what happens when you change the past.
📖 Available to read with Kindle Unlimited.
If you're a fan of time travel, mysterious discoveries and stories that make you question what really happened, why not give The Rift a try?
The question is… if you could change the past, would you?
I've recently released my debut novel, The Rift, and thought I'd share it here in case it sounds like something anyone might enjoy.
The story follows Denzel, who just bought a house with his childhood sweetheart, Suzie. What he doesn't know is that the house is hiding something that connects to a mystery involving time itself.
There's a rift hidden beneath the house, a silver watch with a strange connection to it, and secrets from the past that Denzel slowly begins to uncover.
The more he learns, the more questions he has about what happened before he ever moved into the house... and whether some things that were erased from history were really meant to stay forgotten.
It's a British time-travel mystery with plenty of twists, strange discoveries and a few moments that hopefully make you stop and think about what you'd do if you found something like this yourself.
If you enjoy time travel, sci-fi mysteries and stories where you don't necessarily know who or what to trust, I'd love for you to give The Rift a try.
I'm also curious — what's the best time-travel book you've ever read? I'd love some recommendations.
