I'm hosting a Google Form with the hope of uncovering why the community likes the maps they do and hates the maps they don't. If you want your voice to be heard, register now and sign the form: https://forms.gle/d2beG1cDt9sAQE4w9
I recently bought this game and have been having a blast with it! After beating most of the main story content that is available, I started experimenting with the custom song feature, and I think I found my favorite song to play on this game. It's an old rap song called Pistol Grip Pump by the rapper Volume 10.
If you want to play this song, set the Tempo to 190 and the Beat Offset to 50. Once you do that, sit back and enjoy the song!
I made a new series of polls to determine what the community thought were THE BEST, THE WORST, THE MOST UNDERRATED & MOST OVERRATED JASON'S in all of Camp Forest Green!
The voting format for this poll was different when compared to my last one. In the case of Best & Worst Jason, participants were allowed to choose 3 Jason's. In the case of Most Underrated & Overrated, you were only allowed to pick 1.
And here are the results!
Hey everybody! I'm working on another video regarding Friday The 13th: The Game (via the Camp Forest Green mod), but I'm going to need your help. My next video will be about what YOU, the Friday The 13th: The Game community think the best, worst, most overrated and underrated versions of Jason are. I'm leaving the links to 4 different polls at the bottom of this post, so if you want to vote for your favorite/least favorite Jason's, check out the poll and leave your feedback! You have exactly one week from today to vote, so get voting!
I've been playing a lot of Camp Forest Green recently, and I've begun to notice more and more players doing this. For those who don't know what it is, Tommy-Hogging is when is when a player calls Tommy Jarvis on the radio and then proceeds to kill themselves by either climbing through broken windows or stepping into bear-traps so they can die and come back as Tommy before anyone else can. A lot of players who I've seen utilise this strategy, mainly do it so they can hog playing as Tommy all to themselves. This strategy was actually patched out of Friday The 13th: The Game in 2019 due to complaints from players, yet Camp Forest Green seems to have reimplemented the feature. I'm very curious on what people think about this strategy, cause I personally think it's a scummy exploit that should be patched out of the game, as it is often abused by egotistical players who believe that playing as Tommy should be gatekept and is a right that should only be reserved for the “best” players in Camp Forest Green, all of which is obviously a bunch of elitist bullshit.
I also made a video talking about the subject if anyone is interested in watching it.
After a whole week of gathering votes regarding what YOU, the Friday The 13th: The Game community thought the best Jason in the game was, we finally have the data and can officially present what the community believes to be the "Best Jason In Camp Forest Green".
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the tier list and how accurate you think it is!
I'm putting together a community ran poll where you can VOTE for what Jason you believe is the best in Camp Forest Green: https://strawpoll.com/6QnMQJXMPne
This poll will close in 5 days, so get your votes in while you have the chance! I'd also love to hear why you think your Jason is the best in the comments! 👍
Does anyone know where I can get the crosshair textures from Garden Warfare 1/2? I'm planning on making a mod for Team Fortress 2 that utilizes those crosshairs for the individual weapons.
I was playing a game of CFG (Camp Forest Green) recently and it was quite an interesting experience.
The Jason who was playing seemed to be relatively new and was hard focusing on this one group of counsellors and nobody else. I used this to my advantage and proceeded to sneak around the map as Francis (the new counsellor) and fully fix one of the cars.
Once I drove off, Jason did try to stop me, and even successfully managed to make me crash the car (which was entirely my fault, because I swerved off the road like a dumbass), but one pocket knife and a trip to Narnia later, Jason somehow couldn't find me and proceeded to teleport away and went back to kill the others. In awe of the fact I lived, I rushed out of the cabin, restarted the car, drove off and successfully escaped.
I was so confused about how Jason played that game, and started talking in VC about how I did not deserve to escape after crashing the car like that. This is when I was interrupted by someone. One of the players who was also in the VC happened to be a player called Tommy Jarvis.
And this is where the story truly begins.
As I started to try and talk again, he rudely told me to "Shut the fuck up" and that "No one is listening to you talk", which is ironic giving how he was listening to me talk and proceeded to throw a massive fit over it. I calmly asked him what his problem was and he asked me "Do you suffer from a mental sickness?" which definitely caught me off guard.
I asked him to say the question again in case I misheard him and he proceeded to repeat it, this time adding "you fucking deaf idiot" to the end of it. I then proceeded to answer that "No, I don't have a mental condition, although I do have Autism, which is more neurological than mental", to which he responded "I fucking knew it. Now please shut the fuck up, as no-one wants to hear you talk".
It's at this point that it became clear to me that the guy was salty, as when I checked the lobby status, he had been killed by Jason, likely when he was riding around with that big crew of players. I responded to him by saying "No-one else is this lobby is asking me to shut up aside from you, so clearly you're just mad that you died earlier and I got out in the car". He then responded by saying "Shut the fuck up already! Why are you still talking?" to which I responded "Because we're having a conversation, idiot".
By the time we reached this point in the conversation, the rest of the group escaped and the match ended. Once we got back to the lobby, the lobby suddenly disbanded with a message saying that I'd been kicked by the host. I then went to my recent players list and saw Tommy Jarvis, so I went to his profile and saw some interesting messages.
The first one was from a player who stated that Tommy was "Man who craves attention". Given my interaction with him, that checks out. But it was the next message that really surprised me. Another user left a message that read "Hacked CFG and is just terminating lobbies". This comment got me curious. Was this guy some salty hacker?
A few hours went by and I was now in the CFG Discord Server. As I was scrolling, I noticed that one of the Admins was also called Tommy Jarvis and I assumed it was just a coincidence, but just to be safe, I clicked on his account and saw he had a linked Steam profile. And lo and behold, it was the same Steam profile from earlier. My first thought was "There's no way this guy is an admin", but then I thought back to what happened earlier, and that's when I put the pieces together.
• Me getting kicked from the game.
• The comment claiming that Tommy was potentially a hacker and was terminating lobbies without warning.
• The fact that Tommy is an admin.
This motherfucker has possibly been using his admin privileges to kick players from CFG lobbies and even shut down CFG lobbies he doesn't like.
Now, I need people to take that last part with a HUGE grain of salt, as I don't directly have any proof that this is exactly what's happening. But given my brief research, this is the conclusion I've come to. But hey, I could be entirely wrong. Maybe I just happened to catch this guy on a REALLY bad day. But if I'm right, then Jesus lord, the folks behind this game need to boot this asshole quick!
One last thing. If anyone who plays CFG has had any interactions with Tommy Jarvis (positive or negative), comment them below this post. I want to see if anyone has had similar interactions with him when compared to mine.
I recently started playing Friday The 13th again after years away from the game. I stopped playing sometime after it was announced the game wouldn't be receiving new content due to the lawsuit, and I'm only now returning due to the Camp Forest Green mod on PC.
Now if my memory serves me right, back in the day, the people who played the game were relatively chill and would occasionally troll Jason the odd time (run around in circles, constantly dodge him and waste his time), but those instances were few and far between.
Ever since playing Camp Forest Green however, I've noticed that a LOT of players are often trolling Jason every single game. But it goes beyond trolling Jason. I've had games where players would act like complete and utter pricks for no reason.
Example 1: I had a game where a player started repeatedly calling me the n-word because I didn't drop the engine for the car (it's been a while, so I forgot you had to hold the button instead of tapping it).
Example 2: I had a player run me over (on purpose) after I spawned in as Tommy. I was trying to shoot Jason, but as I was doing so, the player plowed straight into me while yelling "You shouldn't have died the first time, faggot!".
Example 3: We had a game where the player playing as Jason was very clearly inexperienced, and was trying their best to catch everyone, but was struggling. I had just finished fixing the car after about 8 minutes, when the player who had the keys refused to hand them over. For the next 12 minutes, him and his friends (who were all playing as Vanessa because of course they were) looped around Jason and repeatedly called the player playing as him a retard. The guy playing as Jason was so upset at them and distracted that they didn't even notice me repairing the phone and calling the cops.
Perhaps these were just some bad lobbies I got into, but man, if these are the kind of people who still play this game, I feel genuinely terrible for anyone who is using Camp Forest Green as their way of experiencing Friday The 13th for the first time. Do better, people.
If I had to pick 4 individuals who I genuinely think would work well together, I would go with these 4. You have a Telltale representative in Lee, a Valve representative in Spy, a classic character in Manny and a more oddball pick in Mr Foster. That and I feel like the interactions between the 4 would be generally entertaining. I can imagine Spy and Manny having their fair share of banter, meanwhile Foster and Lee are discussing just how different their versions of Zombies are to one another.
