Advice on GLP-1

Hi! I’m a 25F, 5’4”, currently weighing 200 lbs. I’ve been trying to lose about 20 lbs, but it’s been pretty difficult. I weight lift regularly and do cardio, but I don’t get much sleep, which I’m not sure is affecting my progress.

I’m currently in a calorie deficit, but I’ve been considering trying a GLP-1 medication to help me lose an 10–15 lbs. I’m also a bit concerned about loose skin if I lose weight too quickly, so I’m not trying to drop a large amount—just 10–20 lbs.

I had a few questions and would really appreciate any advice:

Where can I get a GLP-1 medication?

What dosage is typically recommended (e.g., 2.5 vs 3.5)?

If you’ve used it to lose around 10–15 lbs, was it worth it?

Thanks in advance ♡

Going to nicaragua in September this year!!

Hiii!! I have a question about the Treehouse in Granada.

Does anyone know how to get there?

I have family there who are willing to drive me anywhere I want to go, but I still can’t find clear directions. I’ve searched all over TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and I’m still confused.

If anyone knows how to get there or has directions, I’d really appreciate the help! Thank youuuu

Septorhinoplasty question + concerned about turbinates / Empty Nose Syndrome

Hey everyone,

I had a question about septorhinoplasty, but first I wanted to give a little background.

When I was around 5 years old, I had adenoidectomy surgery (I believe it was because the tissue was too enlarged). Then in high school, I got hit in the nose with someone’s elbow while play fighting, and since then my nose has been a bit crooked.

I’m 25 now, and I’ve noticed that when I go jogging or even doing simple activities, I sometimes have a little difficulty breathing. It’s not extreme, but definitely noticeable. I also don’t really get sinus infections, so that hasn’t been an issue for me.

I’ve been doing some research and came across Empty Nose Syndrome, which honestly sounds pretty scary. I’ve seen a lot of videos and comments online. I know the general consensus on the internet says it’s rare, but when you actually look through real people’s experiences in videos and comment sections, it starts to feel a lot more common, which is concerning.

What I’m hoping to do is:

- Straighten my nose

- Improve airflow a bit (especially on my left side)

My main concern is whether something like this would require turbinate reduction, or if it’s possible to get these results without touching the turbinates at all.

Has anyone been in a similar situation or had a septorhinoplasty without turbinate work? I’d really appreciate any insight or personal experiences.

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I’m 25F and meeting with a Navy recruiter this week about joining the Reserves, ideally in a construction-related role (like Seabees). I currently work as a project engineer and have about a year of on-the-job experience no college, just hands-on learning. I also did 4 years of JROTC in high school, not sure if that gives me any kind of advantage or helps with rank coming in.

I’m mainly joining to expand my skills, certifications, and overall career opportunities in construction/project management.

I want to make the most out of this meeting, so I’m trying to come prepared. What are some important questions you wish you had asked your recruiter (especially for Reserves or Seabees/construction roles)?

So far I’m thinking about asking:

What specific construction rates (jobs) are available in the Reserves?

What certifications or licenses can I earn?

How often would I actually be working/training?

How deployments work for reservists in construction roles

How this could translate back into civilian career growth

But I feel like there’s stuff I’m not even thinking of.

Any advice, red flags to watch for, or questions I should definitely ask?

Appreciate any insight
