new merch.

The new shirt got here, and yes, kitten, daddy will protect you.

That being said— love it! I have the Swig Break shirt and the fabric of this one versus that one is waaay better! A lot lighter and a lot more breathable especially because my state decides to set on fire every summer.

Very big fan of the merch and quality and will honestly say that my meatiest man never disappoints in his products. It’s a 2XL and fits me like a dress which I am a huge fan of, lol.

being tested for celiac.

Hi! I am a 26F and I had to go to an urgent care today for other reasons. The PA and I talked and I was rambling some symptoms I had and she strongly suggested to get tested for celiac’s disease. My sister has it and my body has been absolutely nuking itself lately and since I need bloodwork done anyways, it couldn’t hurt.

What I was wondering, is since this professional suggested it, I was wondering how invasive the whole procedure is? I’ve had bloodwork done on me since I was 11 and I can handle needles, but I was concerned of if the doctors absolutely need to do an endoscopy or if the bloodwork alone can get it through? I think I could handle it, I’m not scared, it’s just the good ol’ US healthcare expenses I fear.

I guess what I mean to ask is: how hard was it for you to be diagnosed, how did you cope with the actual diet changes and implementations, and how did these changes affect you? I’m not putting all my eggs in one basket, but there is a pretty high chance this is what has been nerfing me and I want to know what to prepare for. Thanks!

type me based on memes i have saved. RT

I’m a 26F who has always been a people person and was an insane gifted burnout kid to raise. I would say I love chatting with anyone who will listen and am absolutely a chronic people pleaser. I really enjoy challenging my brain with writing and reading, as well as art, but GOD I hate math and science.

I love animals, debating, writing, drawing, and generally going out and doing things. If I don’t go out at least once a day (actually GO somewhere, not just go outside) I feel like my day is incomplete, lol.

I have a ton of fandoms/interests I’m in but I pick them up and drop them and might come back to them. Big fan of specifically the thought provoking shows that still have humor. I love a good morality choice followed by a slam dunk joke.

Anyways! I’d love to hear what y’all think. B)

Hi, I am in a bit of a pickle and Google isn’t helping enough. I have a 1.5 year old Turkish Angora mix. We aren’t sure what he’s mixed with, but it’s definitely a large breed cat. What I do know is he is a big part Angora since the woman we got him from said the mother he was from was an Angora but she went out on an adventure and thus he was born.

We feed Gaz 1/3 a cup of Purina Hairball and Healthy weight twice a day. I have had cats before, and while my mother always free fed my childhood ones which created obesity, I don’t want that for him and am trying to figure out the right amount to feed him. I understand the dry food/hydration issue as I’ve had diabetic cats before, and I haven’t noticed any signs but plan to start implementing wet food into his diet. From what I understand, he is eating an okay-ish amount? I’ve read that with his energetic breed and how much he runs around, he needs extra food. The amount he gets is around 400 with treats interspersed. I don’t want him in any way to be deprived of food, and he is VERY food driven.

He is 14lb and he is not overweight or obese, he’s just huge, lol. I don’t know if it’s a breed specific diet or based upon weight, but if anyone could help me properly get this diet helped, please let me know! We try to feed them twice a day with little treat times because I want his sister and him to get more on a schedule, but maybe that’s the wrong way to go about it? Either way, I’m open to any advice as he seems always after his sister’s food and I’m wondering if I’m not feeding him enough or if he’s just territorial. Thanks!
