Let’s say I purchased a property using a home loan of ₹100. Now I have sold the property for ₹150. The buyer’s SBI loan is being used to pay ₹100 towards my existing home loan with IDBI, and the remaining ₹50 will be paid to me after registration.
IDBI has said that when they release the original property documents to me, an SBI bank representative will also be present and will take those original documents from me.
I want to understand whether this process is correct. Is it normal for SBI to take the original documents before the property is registered and before I receive the remaining ₹50? And how does the registration and payment of the remaining ₹50 happen in this situation?
I am given below in Delhi, so trying to understand if it’s a good deal or not?
