Was down in the ozarks recently and saw a big bass hiding under the dock. Lots of water snakes down there and one got too close. You can see the bass come into view in bottom of the video. Didn’t expect it to eat at all
Going to be down there from Wednesday to Sunday this week. Looking for stuff to do such as music and entertainment, good food, stuff to not miss, etc. Any ideas?
So for context I’m not a huge bar goer or huge drinker when I do go out. I enjoy playing pool with some friends and just having a good time in the early evening before the overly obnoxious crowd gets there. Both of these events happened before 9pm.
My girlfriend came with me to the bar which normally she doesn’t go with me because she’s not a huge people fan. I’m waiting for my pool buddy to get there so we sit down at the bar near one of her parents friends. This gentleman has another man with him that I have never once met before but has had a prior conversation with my girlfriend. She introduces me and I can already tell that this man is getting pretty intoxicated.
I’m on my phone looking stuff up for our house since we were still in the moving in (making it ours) process. He starts saying how lucky I am to have her and she’s so gorgeous and I’m halfway paying attention like most people do to drunk men.
Well he then proceeds to grab my phone all of a sudden and put it face down on the table and tell me that I don’t love her enough and that I don’t deserve her and all this while finishing with a son story about how he didn’t love his wife enough when she was alive. I said that he doesn’t have any place to tell me what i do is wrong or that im not doing enough and i reach for my phone that he set across from me.
He then puts his full hand on my face like a we’re not done here sign. He didn’t slap me or anything like that. I had enough and I stood up and told him word for word “I’m sorry about your wife but if you ever touch me or talk to her again, we will have a different kind of conversation in the parking lot”. And then I got up and my girlfriend and I went outside to relax for a second and that was it. He left through a different entrance door and I haven’t seen him again.
My girlfriend thinks I was a bit too harsh and my sister agreed when I told her the story. I think I was justified. Thoughts on that one?
That same night a little while later I was playing pool with my buddy and it was getting a little busier. Maybe 25-30 people in the bar total. Nobody else waiting on pool table. My buddy just broke the rack and I was up to shoot. This obnoxiously drunk girl had been screaming and yelling in the bar for about 45 minutes already at this point and sadly made her way over to the pool table and started acting like she was gonna take the balls off or move them. She tripped over her own feet and grab the table catching herself slightly shifting the balls. We tried to ignore her and just kept playing. Well on my next turn her and 2 other people were near sitting on the table at this point and she finally turned around and put her hand on a ball and just held it.
Someone had called her name and she was having an across the bar conversation with them at this point while still having a full hand wrapped around the ball. We asked her several times to let it go and just wait a few minutes and she can do whatever she wants. She wouldn’t listen and is barely able to stand so I get fed up with it. I half powered my shot into the ball she’s holding hitting one of her knuckles pretty hard and she immediately lets go and freaks out and starts crying. Her one responsible friend says “that’s what you get” and she runs off into the bathroom. The friend came over and told us she was drinking but also on some substances and was sorry about her being that way.
Another person came up and said that was mean and you should’ve just waited until she let it go to play. We probably had constant issues with her up to that point for about 30 minutes straight until I shot the cue.
I feel like I was patient enough and she learned her lesson. Did I overreact?
Have what I believe is a 90s mariner magnum 3 (serial 0D224023). Finally got it out and noticed nothing was coming out of the pee hole. Decided I wouldn’t mess with it until I just get an entire kit to replace the impeller. Not sure what impeller I need. No websites are very informative for what impeller kit will work for me or giving me any info based on the serial number. Any advice for what I need or who to contact?
