Just want to come up with a list of everything that would change if healthcare in the states would become universal.

First I think insurance prices would come down cause healthcare costs are a large part of it.

Second stock prices would probably crash a gdp as well cause healthcare is prompting up the stock market. I imagine other country with universal healthcare isn't even in the stock market. So GDP would fall quite literally.

Anything else?

Anyone remember the old apple pie that's was essentially fried at McDonald's back in the days. It was phased out because it was too good.Ok, this is the jackpot. McDonald's in china still has fried fruit pies. It might not be apple but they have pineapple and taro pie. But I missed these fried pies. Essentially American items that are no longer American.

First off I'm afraid of the Chinese drivers. They are aggressive dodging e bikes and scooters and people on the roads. But on the highway they are another type of beast. Merging in and out of the roads with little warning. I can't see myself in the driver's seat for long.

The other sides are the snacks and rest stops. Road stops have pretty much the same items, skewers, hotpot and steam buns. Fried items are also common but it's no where like American truck stops. Most are independently own and It's like a market, people come in and out at fast pace.

Snacks are amazing. Most are higher in protein than the American counterpart. Chips have a wider variety and flavors but people here loves the marinated bamboo shoots and chicken feet in small packages. It is a hell of a lot healthier, more protein and collegen pack.

Like Japan china has a lot of regional snacks for tourist. Went to two region and each have berries juice native to that area.

So far china has been amazing. Bit of a culture shock but in a positive way. And people are nothing less than friendly unless you are blocking the road and making illegals U-turn.

I'm abroad and wifi is useless. Connects to router but there's no Internet service. This is only with my pixel 8 pro. Any tips or am I just waiting? This is really inconvenient.
