I'd really like some advice from older ENFPs about this situation

My uni started a year ago and people in my class are really really really rude and I don't expect them to be kind to me but every time I talk to any of them it drains me because they do not have a single good or positive thing to say about anyone or anything. I've run out of my optimism and positivity and the whole place seems like a giant, dark cave. It's an extremely exhausting job for me to be there. I want to know if someone could tell me how to decentre myself from this extreme desire to connect and empathize when people around me aren't really nice
