as a fleet manager?

when looking at new courses to manage how disappointing is it to walk into an all JD course? in my experience toro and jacobson are so much easier to fix and keep the reels right than any JD equipment. but i have a really good opportunity at a new course, and they are very staunchly JD only. their maintenance budget is HUGE, but management refuses to see red or orange on the course. its something im thinking about declining the offer for because JD is stuck in 1977 with their reels and maintenance, and their hybrids are a joke. so i think the question is do you take the risk and take the job with hopes of building a proposal to shift to toro or jacobsen or just let them drown in maintenance with another candidate?

siri is way too active?

only a problem when i have my sony xm5s on, but everytime any noise happens or i talk or try to sing with my songs it pauses the song because siri thinks i need something. i've disabled siri for the sony headphone management apps and spotify, and it still does it when i turn siri off completely. this is a new issue with the new update. iphone 15 pro running 26.4.1, all updates are done and firmware updated. it still wants to use voice assistant even though it's never been turned on? just for these headphones.... should note that in every setting for the headphones in the apps and in iphone settings it should not be listening either. everything is off. i'm gonna try to just restart phone delete the headphones and the app re download and re set up the headphones like new, but i am not hopeful. what magic setting am i missing?

well i watched the fire department come out in their big truck just in case, and rescue some car keys from a sewer grate today. (possibly could have been done otherwise but fire dept makes it a 3 minute experience) they were not my keys so don't come for me. but i had a thought, so i asked. the truck they brought today is their nicest truck, and its from 1997. we live in an area that has real crazy wild fires and home fires can quickly become wild fires. so then i looked into why west metro doesn't have better trucks. in the last 10 years everyone that makes these trucks have been bought by 2 companies and they're basically holding inventory hostage. they also are the same people that own the insurance companies that set homeowners insurance based on things like fire dept readiness and the newness of their equipment. can someone tell me im crazy please?
