as a fleet manager?
when looking at new courses to manage how disappointing is it to walk into an all JD course? in my experience toro and jacobson are so much easier to fix and keep the reels right than any JD equipment. but i have a really good opportunity at a new course, and they are very staunchly JD only. their maintenance budget is HUGE, but management refuses to see red or orange on the course. its something im thinking about declining the offer for because JD is stuck in 1977 with their reels and maintenance, and their hybrids are a joke. so i think the question is do you take the risk and take the job with hopes of building a proposal to shift to toro or jacobsen or just let them drown in maintenance with another candidate?
