Chase Offers Question

  • Chase gave me a 10% back up to $9 promotion several months ago at a Kroger store on all my Chase cards
  • I used it on all but one Chase card
  • Now, I get the Chase offers again for Kroger
    • The one card I didn't use it for last time has a 10% back up to $9
    • All the cards I used on the prior promotion now "only" have a 5% cash back up to $4.50
  • Question: Coincidence? Or because I used a similar offer several months ago, all the cards I used a similar promotion on before have a worse offer?

Signal text message pop-up

For some reasons, my Signal message notifications pop up in the upper center of the screen, and when I click on it, I'm not taken to the Signal program but instead shown a Signal(1) as though it's showing me the downloaded file name or something. Any ideas on how I could fix this? Thanks so much!

Limit charging to 80%

Got a new Dell 14" 2 in 1. It has the Dell optimizer app, but nowhere to limit charge to 80% to help preserve the battery like all of the online articles says that it should have. Any ideas for how I could get this to work? Thanks so much!

Samsung Dex Blank Space... How to Fix

Hello!

Samsung phones have something called Dex, which allows for a desktop interface when you plug your phone into a monitor. Every browser works seamlessly on this (Edge, Chrome, Brave)... except my favorite... Firefox!

There is a giant blank space below the url bar that I cannot figure out how to get rid of.

Any ideas how to remove this?

Any help would be sooooo appreciated! Thank you!

Opportunity cost of waiting to redeem

As someone who generally just chooses cash back immediately for redemptions, could someone who prefers points/travel please provide counterpoints?

Outside of when I would get a large point deposit on a sign up bonus, it seems to me that there's a tremendous opportunity cost in waiting to accrue enough points via organic spending to get a meaningful point redemption for travel usage.

A dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow, and especially with point devaluations, seems almost risky to keep waiting for an extended period of time to redeem points.

Just doesn't seem to be something that is mentioned much (but maybe I'm not looking in the right spots).

Thanks for your thoughts!

Hello, with the release of desktop android for Google Pixel phones, does Google Chrome have a desktop version that I could download on a Galaxy phone somewhere that would allow extensions, etc?

Thank you!
