Time Length for A/C Repair under Warranty?
I've purchased a Lexus from Cars24 (Melbourne) about 2 months ago. 2 and a half weeks ago, I dropped off the car for an A/C repair since the driver's side A/C wasn't blowing cold air. Since I was still covered under Stat warranty, the car was taken in and its been sitting at the Cars24 Mechanic for 2 and a half weeks. Whenever I ask for an update, I keep getting told that the vehicle is still being worked on and that the diagnosis is difficult since its difficult to access the actuators of a Lexus. Now, is this normal to still be at a diagnosis stage after 2 weeks, and how long are repairs usually of this issue? I know it's dependent on many factors but I'm just curious as I feel like my car has just been sitting in their shop with nothing being done to it. I'm not that big of a car guy either, so I'm pretty naive when it comes to different repair time lengths and how mechanics work for warranty services. Any advice from people who know or have experience in this area would be highly appreciated!
