Hi! So in the midst of the revaluation and OSM drama, a spark of a quarrel occurred regarding which stream is better and which is not. No, this post is not directed against any stream whatsoever but a small message for the young ones who saw the posts. There's this common misconception that humanities is an inferior subject or, yk, as they say, easier to score. While streams like sciences or commerce are more on the difficult side.

As someone who had humanities with core math I can give it to you as much that PASSING in humanities may require at least some effort from your side (not zero, some is required). About scoring "good" in humanities it largely depends on your definition of that good. If it's 90%+ man, you need to study NCERT at least thrice. 95%+? Grind NCERT for the whole year. That's how I got 99 in economics. But at the same time, when I grinded math just as much, despite knowing the questions and answering well I got 85. That's a different story, I was expecting at least 93 in math.

At the end of the day man, as long as you've chosen your stream because you are genuinely interested in it (which I was) then you're good to go. Ignore the comments raised against your stream by other people and just focus on your path. Bolne do bhai zindagi tumhari h at the end tumhare marks are the deciding factor not theirs. Be clear about what you want. Be ambitious. Trust me, no matter the stream you come from you're bound to find success in what you love the most!

Aur bhai please understand that students regardless of their streams have been done wrong by CBSE. Humanities wale zyada ni post krte because shaming is worse here kyunki hey, how could you score this less in humanities huh?

Pls focus on college applications and exams instead of these stupid stream wars rn!

Math Core- The questions were surprisingly mainly from matrices and determinants. One of them was like- if a, b, c are the roots of px^2+qx+1 and the det is- [3x3 wala tha jisme hr value ya toh a b c thi] then- a. p=q b. p=qb..... And honestly? I COULD NOT SOLVE IT🙏 then one of the integration questions was- int sq. root (1-x^2)/x^4. One of the other ones was a PYQ or def from ncert so i ticked the option in a sec. The paper was very lengthy. Very confusing. The questions seemed wrong (even the options). There was one ques from vector- if a b c are mutually perpendicular then angle between a+b+c and a is- a. cos^-1(1/root3).... Brother this freaked me out. I left 7 questions🙏 time pe hogya tha but again i could not answer many because of how weird and lengthy it was.

GAT- KUCH BHI THA BHAI GK MEIN. The questions I remember (GK)- India has signed some insurance providence thingy with which country. Which river when bents to arunachal pradesh is called as Dihang (easy, the only good one). Something about a manganese strip in the country. Two book column questions, ek mein toh आशाड़ का एक दिन was also there and The Wasteland as well. For science- what happens in the cytoplasm (vahi 10th mein jo padha tha process of breakdown). For math- how many times does the hour hand and the minute hand make an angle 90 between 1pm to 10pm. One easy sa SI ka ques. Logical Reasoning- Shape wale 2 easy ques (to make the given shape how many of the below opts suffice etc) AND SPECIAL MENTION TO A NAZI SYMBOL QUESTION😭 you had to find out on which figure it was embedded.

hi so I'm currently thinking of applying to christ university but the given dates and places for conducting the interview are not at all feasible for me. My CUET's on 11th and 14th May and where they'll be conducting the interviews are like in a different state. I know I should've applied early but I had gotten into ashoka uni and never thought about christ until my finaid application was rejected by ashoka.

I've sent them a mail and a query so far. Any advice on what else I could possibly do?
