Hackathon Teammate Search] Tata Technologies InnoVent 2026 — Looking for a B.Tech 3rd/4th year co-builder*

Hey everyone,

I'm participating in **Tata Technologies InnoVent** — a national-level Edge AI hackathon with a prize pool of **₹3,00,000 + PPO opportunities at Tata Technologies**. Registration deadline is **July 5, 2026**.

**What we have thought to build:**

An Edge AI road hazard detection system for ADAS — think pothole detection, debris, cattle crossings, waterlogging — all running **on-device on a Raspberry Pi 5** using a fine-tuned YOLOv8 model trained on Indian road data (IDD + RDD2022). No cloud, no latency. Built specifically for Indian roads.

Most global ADAS systems are trained on German autobahn data and cost ₹20 lakh. Ours runs on ₹8,000 hardware. That's the pitch.

**Who I'm looking for:**

- Currently in **B.Tech 3rd or 4th year** (any branch)

- Comfortable with **Python** and at least one of: ML / Computer Vision / Embedded Systems

- Available before July 5 to co-submit Stage 1 (just a presentation + PoC video — not a full build yet)

- Someone who actually wants to build, not just add it to their resume without contributing

**Bonus points if you know:** YOLOv8, OpenCV, Raspberry Pi, FastAPI

**What's the time commitment for Stage 1?**

Honestly not much — the architecture is already designed, the dataset is identified, and the model training plan is ready. Stage 1 just needs a solid deck and a short demo video. We'd need maybe 3–4 focused sessions before July 5.

If we get shortlisted to Stage 2, that's when the real building starts — and that's the fun part.

Drop a comment or DM me if you're interested. Happy to share the full project doc and jump on a call.

Let's build something that actually matters. 🔥

I’m building an AI mock interview app for Indian students — looking for early users

Hey everyone,

I’m building MockMentor, an AI-powered mock interview tool for students who want to practice interviews, get instant feedback, and improve faster without spending a lot on coaching.

A lot of students in India, especially from tier-3 and tier-4 colleges, don’t get enough real interview practice. Coaching is expensive, placement cells are overloaded, and most free resources don’t give personalized feedback.

MockMentor is designed to solve that by offering:

  • AI mock interviews
  • Hinglish-friendly feedback
  • Role-based question practice
  • Progress tracking
  • Affordable access for students

I’m currently looking for a few early users to test the product and share honest feedback.

Join here : "https://mentor-spark-ai-74.lovable.app"

If you’re a student, recent graduate, or someone preparing for placements, I’d love to hear:
What’s the biggest challenge you face while preparing for interviews?

If you’re interested in trying it early, comment below or DM me and I’ll share the waitlist.

I built a Chrome extension that fact-checks what people say in meetings in real time

So I kept noticing the same thing in meetings — someone quotes a statistic, everyone nods, decisions get made, and half the time the number is just... wrong.

Nobody checks. It's awkward to push back in the moment. So bad information wins by default.

I built Meeting Fact-Checker to fix this.

What it does:

  • Uses AssemblyAI to transcribe speech live during any meeting (Google Meet, Zoom, Teams — anything browser based)
  • You can also manually paste a claim if you want to verify something specific
  • Tavily does a real-time web search for evidence
  • OpenRouter's AI analyzes the results and gives a verdict — Verified, False, or Unverifiable — with a source and explanation

Why these APIs:

  • AssemblyAI because their real-time transcription accuracy is genuinely better than Web Speech API
  • Tavily because it's built specifically for AI agents — clean, fast, no scraping headaches
  • OpenRouter so I'm not locked into one model — can swap GPT-4o, Claude, Mistral depending on cost/speed

Current state: Working Chrome extension. Demo video coming soon.

Would love brutal feedback — what would make you actually use this daily?

Been manually tracking 6 competitors for 3 months — copy-pasting into a spreadsheet every week. Is this just me or is everyone doing this?

So I've been building a B2B SaaS for the past 8 months. Early traction, a few paying customers, things are moving.

But one thing that's been quietly eating my time — competitor tracking.

Every Monday I have this ritual I hate:

  • Open 6 competitor websites, check if pricing changed
  • Scroll their LinkedIn for new hires (tells you where they're investing)
  • Check Product Hunt / their changelog for new features
  • Google their brand name to see if they got press
  • Copy everything into a Notion doc nobody reads

Takes me 2–3 hours every single week. And half the time I miss things anyway — found out a competitor dropped their pricing by 30% only when a prospect mentioned it on a call. That was embarrassing.

I've tried Crayon and Klue — both quoted me $15K–$20K/year. I'm a 3-person startup. That's not happening.

Google Alerts is basically useless for anything meaningful.

So right now my "competitive intelligence stack" is: me, a browser, and a sad spreadsheet.

Genuinely asking:

  • Are other early-stage founders doing this manually too?
  • How do you stay on top of what competitors are doing without spending hours on it?
  • Is this even worth tracking at your stage or do you just ignore competitors and focus on customers?

Would love to know how people are actually handling this. Feels like a problem nobody talks about but everyone has.

Real estate is a 24/7 game, and I've been feeling the full force of IFAS (Instant Follow-up & Availability Syndrome) lately. It's the relentless need to be instantly responsive to every potential client, or they just vanish. I've seen too many promising inquiries go cold because I couldn't reply at 11 PM or 6 AM.

I've been diving deep into solutions and recently implemented an AI chat assistant on my website. It's designed specifically for real estate, so it can answer property questions, qualify leads, and collect contact info around the clock. It's effectively giving me back my nights and weekends while ensuring no lead is left hanging. For those struggling with IFAS, what's your approach? Are you finding success with AI for your business, or other methods?

Hey everyone,

I've been building AI voice agents for the past few months and just finished a full working product — an AI receptionist specifically for dental clinics and local businesses.

Here's what it actually does (not theory, working live):

🎙️ Answers every inbound call 24/7

→ Books appointments automatically

→ Handles cancellations and reschedules

→ Sends the patient an SMS confirmation

→ Answers FAQs about services, hours, location

→ Zero staff involvement

💬 AI Chatbot (add-on)

→ Handles WhatsApp and website inquiries

→ Captures leads after hours

→ Answers pricing and service questions automatically

Tech stack if anyone's curious: Voiceflow + Retell AI + Google Calendar + Twilio + Zapier

I'm looking for 3 beta clients to deploy this for real businesses. You get:

✅ Full setup done for you

✅ Beta price: ₹4,999/month (regular will be ₹12,000+)

✅ 1 month of support included

✅ Your feedback shapes the product

Ideal for: dental clinics, diagnostic centres, coaching institutes, real estate agencies — any local business that loses leads from missed calls.

I made a 2-minute demo if anyone wants to see it in action. Drop a comment or DM me and I'll send it over.
