Need help

Hi! I hope you're doing well.

I'm looking for some career guidance and would really appreciate your perspective.

I'm currently pursuing a B.Com and an LLB(not so important), and I'm deciding between completing ACCA or pursuing the US CMA. My long-term goal is to build a career in corporate finance, financial consulting, and eventually work in Europe. I'm not interested in audit or tax—I want to focus on business finance, FP&A, strategy, and corporate finance roles.

From your experience in the industry, which qualification would you recommend for someone with my goals, especially considering the Indian job market in the next few years? I'd also appreciate any advice on the skills, internships, or certifications I should prioritize to improve my chances.

Thank you for your time. I genuinely appreciate any guidance you can share.

Baldness

Hello everyone I am sharing my recent hair photos (front, left temple, right temple, and top view) with wet hair so the hairline and density are clearly visible.

I wanted your assessment regarding possible hairline recession / early male pattern hair loss.

Over the past few months, I have noticed some concern around my temple area, especially recession near the front hairline. I do notice some daily hair shedding, but it is not excessive (around 20 hairs approximately, from what I have observed).

Could you please evaluate whether this looks like:

normal mature hairline,

early androgenetic alopecia (male pattern hair loss),

or any other condition?

Please also let me know if you notice miniaturization, temple progression, or if any treatment/investigation is needed at this stage.

Thank you.

My hair is genetically thin.

Acne getting serious

Hi , I’m facing a sudden acne breakout again and wanted your advice. My current skincare routine includes a face wash, 10% niacinamide serum, an oil-free moisturizer, and SPF 50 sunscreen.

Around 5 months ago, in January, I underwent laser treatment, which significantly reduced both my acne and post-acne marks. However, over the last 3 weeks, my acne has started coming back very quickly, and now I’m getting multiple inflamed pimples and small bumps on my cheeks/beard area. I’m concerned because it seems to be worsening fast and I don’t want it to leave scars again.

Please advise on what I should do next or whether I need to change my treatment.

Hey everyone,

I need some honest advice about my career direction.

My profile: I’m a B.Com graduate (6.83 GPA) from a Tier 3 college. Right now, I’m pursuing a 3-year LLB from Allahabad University. I’ve realized that I’m more interested in finance-related roles rather than pure law.

I’m not interested in Company Secretary (CS), so I’ve been considering options like ACCA or CFA. My goal is to move into finance roles (possibly corporate finance, valuation, consulting, or something similar), ideally with good long-term growth and even opportunities abroad.

My concerns:

My GPA isn’t great, and I don’t come from a top college

I’m doing LLB, so I’m not sure how well it aligns with finance

I want a qualification that actually adds real value, not just another degree

What I want to know:

Between ACCA and CFA, which one makes more sense with my background?

Is there any other certification/course I should consider instead?

What would be the smartest path if I want flexibility (finance + consulting + maybe international opportunities)?

I’m open to hard truths, so feel free to be brutally honest.

Thanks in advance.
