Hi everyone,

I’d like everyone to know Jeremy has been located. Unfortunately Jeremy passed away hiking in the Kananaskis area. (As much as I can say) I’d like to thank the police, search and rescue and everyone in the Reddit community for taking the time to say kind words and help out. We lost a great friend and coworker, he passed doing the thing he loved most and will miss him.

For anyone going for a hike,climb or even a walk. Even if it’s somewhere you’ve been hundred times. Please let a friend, loved one, coworker, etc… your starting/end point and time/day of finishing. Something so simple may save someone’s life down the road

His last known location was in Calgary and the policed pinged his phone on July 9th. He was supposed to be going for a climb/hike before flying to Toronto on the 12th for a course. He did not report to the course or to work on the 20th.

Police released information of Rental vehicle (July 23) still waiting to see about GPS Tracker

If anyone has seen this man please let me know. Jeremy Lalande is a friend and coworker. He has gone missing, his last known contact was to his landlord in Calgary on July 9th, 2026 and the landlord was told by Jeremy that he was going hiking/climbing on the 10th. The location of his hike/climb and means of travel were not shared. He was scheduled to fly to Toronto the 12th for a training course and work on the 20th that he didn’t report for. He loved overnight camping. So would be kananaskis/Banff area. His last known vehicle was a rental (unknown type). Still waiting to hear from police for more information. Thank you

Edit #1 police traced his phone and last known location was Calgary on the 9th

Edit #2 rental car company reached out to detective, waiting for vehicle information at this time (July 23, 0700)
