Scored this yard sale find today for the cost of pocket change. A 1960's/70's Auto Mini folder. Pletscher of Switzerland is stamped on the frame, oddly from what I could find they made accessories, like the rat trap rack (also marked Switzerland) but not the bikes themselves... but their name is stamped on the frame... but these bikes were continuously made by like a dozen companies over the years so I guess it's possible Pletscher made some too...

I even like the god awful 60's orange/brown paint. It's character.

edit: does anyone know a safe way to make the plastic hand grips be not sticky? Like the plastic itself is sticky. I gave them a wipe down with a cleaner, once the cleaner dried the stickiness came back.

Out of frame is that to the right of the blue Dodge is a pillar/wall and for weeks these two were always in the same spaces at the same time but the brown Ford came later and only ever left 6" of space or less for the van

For the sake of Devils Argument; Ra was justified in the movie.

From Ra's perspective:

Ra the 10,000 year old Supreme System Lord of the galaxy spanning empire of the Goa'uld was on pleasure cruise on his flying palace-ship to one of the many worlds under his domain that worshiped him as a god where he could bask in the pageantry and collect the naquada the mines had produced this cycle. .

His Jaffa report back to him strange humans that are not from Abydos.

Perhaps they're a scout party from a rival System Lord...

Curiosity piqued, he has them captured and brought before him.

To his surprise they are humans from the First World who have opened the chappa'ai.

The one wearing glasses and the necklace with Ra's symbol at least seams useful...

But among the items of the humans is a primitive fission bomb.

This cannot be co-incidence.

They've come to kill him.

Maybe a lower System Lord or even the Tok'ra could be behind these humans...

He preempts this plot against him, he'll send their primitive fission bomb back through the chappa'ai with some naquada that will ensure the chappa'ai on their end is destroyed and they cannot try again.

A rebellion is breaking out amongst the humans of Abydos caused by these humans of the First World. How troublesome.

Things are getting out of hand, Ra performs a lift off and re-orbiting of his ship into space... perhaps to use the ships weapons to simply blast the entire region of the rebellion away from the safety of orbit so he can maintain wider order.

The ring transporter activates... probably disgraced Jaffa trying to return in defeat, instead it's the human fission bomb with only seconds to spare.

Boom.

tl:dr... Ra got merc'd by some primitives in a surprise attack while he was on vacation.

Hey all, I have this vintage Italian chipper with a 5hp Briggs engine. It's run fine for years... except I pulled it out, gave it new gas and it would not start. I have checked that it has spark. I took off the pulsa jet carb, cleaned it and replaced the diaphragm. I took off the head and the valves look good and close tight and there's only minimal wear on the cylinder. With spark plug out it seems to have good compression. No start. The most I get is a "whuff" of smoke from the carb side , not quite a full backfire.

EDIT: See my post below with picture, the fault was a broken throttle screw.
