Updated Gutter Drain

Hello- I was working on regrading the side of my house and accidentally hit the gutter pipe that takes it to the street. When I dug it up I found a different type of pipe every 12-36 inches electrical taped to the next. Sooo I replaced the whole thing with SDR 35. I’m currently dry fit and working on getting the slope of the pipe as good as I can. Then plan to add loose dirt under the pipe, ramp it down, glue pipes in place, cover pipes and grade dirt away from the house.

Any suggestions on what I need to do to finish the job? less

Help with drainage material

Hello- I need to replace an underground pipe in a residential home (nothing heavy should ever run over the area) that sends water from 2 gutter downspouts and the sump pump. I was going to run 4” corrugated pipe, but I’m concerned it’s not the correct thing to use. Should I use PVC instead? PLEASE HELP!

How do I know if I’m Overloading Circuit

I recently ran 12-2 romex from a closet light, then daisy chained 3 more ceiling fans, so there are 4 new junction boxes installed, 2 of which have ceiling fans running on them. These fans are not connected to a switch and we just use the pull chains to adjust settings, but for the most part, they stay always on.

My concern since installing all of this is I’m not sure if I’m overloading the circuit with this new load. The house has a pushmatic circuit breaker, I believe it is on a 15 amp circuit, and I believe the wire going to the light is 14 gauge.

Can anyone advise if there is a safety concern with this?

Help with Stucco Color & Trim

Hello- we recently bought a house and I have to replace all the old (rotten) trim. I was originally planning a white color trim, but I’m not sure how that will look in the long term! Ultimately we will be replacing all trim, door, screen door, open to painting the garage door, will be replacing roof in the next 5 years, then painting the house.

Is anyone able to give me some design advice or color pallet recommendations for what to do!

Hello, just purchased a house from the 70s, which has stucco and wooden trim. I knew the trim was in need of paint/replacement, but took a section off and found this. Not sure if it’s water/termites or both. This same corner in the basement has water seepage as well. I’m not really sure where to go from here, but plan to at least cover it with a PVC trim piece for now.

I’ve already had a pro out but he didn’t peel any trim off to see this.

Is this something I can reasonably DIY?

Just purchased a house with stucco that we know has rotting trim in need of replacement. Pulled off a section in the bottom corner and found pictures 3&4. I’m trying to determine if this is water damage (which I know is an issue) or termites. Around the same time I saw some small bugs (pictures 1&2) flying around the area, although I don’t know if they’re related to the bushes or this area I just disturbed.
