Why is Aeromexico asking for a visa?

So I booked a flight from the U.S. to Mexico. My country of residence and passport are U.S. I am down there regularly, 4-5 times a year. It used to be you had to fill out a form on the plane and hand it in, get half back to be turned in upon departure, but they have long since stopped that. If I go through the “cattle chute” at immigration I get a slip with a QR which leads to a digital FMM. If I go through immigration with a human, I get a stamp and a date of expiry. All good, all normal.

I am booked for a flight in a few weeks, and Aeromexico is asking me for a visa number, saying my required documents are only 50% complete (the other being my passport which is approved and on file) and I need to complete this in order to fly.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there a new process that I need to follow?

Los tacos en Acapulco son una experiencia religiosa

Siempre que estoy allá intento comer lo máximo que puedo, no sé qué es, pero en pocos lugares he podido encontrar tacos tan buenos como en Acapulco

Senior exercise group

I am trying to find some sort of seniors exercise program/group for my MIL. She is in her 80s, reasonably mobile. Honestly, not sure what exactly would be appropriate, but something guided with an instructor in a group setting. Anyone have any suggestions?

My first time in Acapulco! Nature, history, food and fun during Tianguis Turistico Mexico 🇲🇽

I'm a travel journalist who recently visited Acapulco for the first time as an invited media guest for Tianguis Turistico Mexico 2026 tourism convention. Shared my travel recap here, where we did a bit of everything from lush nature, historic sites to coastal seafood.
