24 y/o pianist and vocalist from Scotland looking to jam in NYC

Hey everyone,

I’m 24, originally from Scotland, and I recently moved to NYC for work. I’m really looking to get back into the music side of things, especially in a city with such a rich and historic creative scene.

I’d love to find people to jam with or maybe even start a band. I’m open to a range of styles and just want to connect with other musicians who are up for creating something together.

I’m also trying to build a social circle here, so if anyone is in a similar boat or knows beginner-friendly sports/social groups, I’d really appreciate any recommendations.

Does anyone know any beginner-friendly sports groups or social clubs I could join after work? Open to anything really (soccer, fitness, creative stuff, etc).
