I recently applied for the HSBC Live+ credit card and was pleasantly surprised to receive a limit of 5,41,000, which is my second highest limit.

Having this card has significantly boosted my cashback earning efficiency. I can now spend on Zomato Blinkit, Flipkart minutes, Amazon groceries and get 10% cashback.

Previously, I was limited to Swiggy for 10% cashback and Amazon for 5%. Now, I can use this card almost everywhere for my day-to-day expenses.

I’ve already received some cashback rewards, including a ₹750 Amazon Pay voucher through Visa Poshvine, a ₹100 Amazon Pay voucher through Times Prime and a ₹1000 cashback reward for completing a ₹20,000 transaction within 30 days.

this is absolute beast

Hilarious Client wants refund without any tds deduction

This client came in and I calculated his tax liability, which turned out to be zero. However, his employer has not deducted any TDS. He is expecting me to give him a refund. My question is, if no tax has been deducted, how can we provide a refund? from my own pocket ?

I believe it is high time people should shift their mindset from refunds to correct compliance.

But this case is hilarious...expecting a refund without any tax deduction. To top it off, he mentioned that most of his colleagues received refunds, yet you are not giving me one.🤣🤣

Has anyone got HDFC Regalia gold lifetime free?

I got this attached screenshot from the internet but I want to confirm from everyone if anyone has a lifetime free Regalia gold HDFC credit card.

Currently, I have a lifetime free Regalia first credit card and an upgrade to Regalia gold with a first-year free option and then 2500 per year which is not making sense.

Is anyone of you able to send a screenshot hiding your details of this lifetime free Regalia gold upgrade email from HDFC?

Its your boy.. HSBC Live+ Credit card - Card Limit 541000😨

Finally, after a month of back and forth with HSBC Bank, I was granted a credit limit of 5,41,000 from HSBC, which is my second highest credit card limit

Now waiting for my actual Card delivery which is not yet dispatched

LITERALLY, they rejected my credit card application within four minutes. After one month of continuous follow-up and sharing all the details, I finally got this bad boy.

Feeling Good 😌

Finally, HSBC Live+ was approved after four weeks.

I can now also get 10% cashback on Zepto, Blinkit and Zomato, which I was missing. Though I am having Swiggy OG card LTF but it works with swiggy only

Although I have 16 credit cards, this one will really boost my savings on spends.

PS - Yes, we can track HSBC application through this URL. I bet you didn't know this. 😁

Just Received My Revolut India Card 🇮🇳💳

Got my Revolut India card today and I must say, the card design and app experience feel far more premium than most traditional banking apps.

Some features I’ve figured it out so far:

• UPI payments
• Physical & virtual cards
• International money transfers
• Multi-currency accounts
• Competitive forex rates
• Real-time spending notifications
• Budgeting & expense analytics
• In-app card controls (freeze/unfreeze, limits, etc.)
• Group bills and money transfers
• Airport lounge access and travel benefits on premium plans
• Travel insurance and lifestyle perks on higher-tier plans

I like the multiple virtual card generation feature the most. It allows you to use a virtual card on a new website or any other merchant where you are not comfortable sharing details like recurring subscriptions or trial versions. After use, you can discard the card permanently.

The onboarding was smooth, and the app UI is probably one of the cleanest I’ve used in the Indian fintech space.

Still early days for Revolut in India, but the combination of global banking features, forex capabilities, travel benefits, and a modern app experience makes it quite interesting.

Looking forward to testing it on my next international trip.

Anyone else received their Revolut India card yet?

How has your experience been so far and how and where are you using it ?

Finally I got the access of the useless thing - Revolut

Could you please advise me guys, why there is so much of hype for this Revolut card. What's the actual benefit of this app ?

Sitting on a 15-Card Stack (Mostly LTF). Help me trim the fat and optimize for Insurance, Utilities, and Groceries!

💳 My Current Portfolio & Fee Structure:

- SBI SimplyCLICK – LTF
- HDFC Regalia First – LTF
- HDFC Swiggy – LTF
- HDFC Tata Neu Infinity – LTF
- HDFC PhonePe Ultimo RuPay Select – 1st Year Free (then ₹999 + GST)
- ICICI Amazon Pay – LTF
- ICICI Sapphiro RuPay – LTF
- YES Bank Select – LTF
- YES Bank UPI RuPay – LTF
- Bank of Baroda CA Exclusive – LTF
- AU CA Metal – LTF
- Amex SmartEarn – ₹495 + GST
- IDFC FIRST Wealth – LTF
- IDFC FIRST Power+ – ₹499 + GST
- Axis Bank IndianOil – LTF

PS - I already applied HSBC Live+ also and it will be approved soon

📊 My Major Spending Categories (Newly Added part to the post for better analysis and suggestions)

- Insurance Premiums (₹1.5 Lakh/Year): I currently use HDFC Tata Neu Infinity and get approximately 1.5% cashback/value back. - ₹2,250 cashback per year. (Need suggestions on this).

Groceries (₹15,000/Month): through Swiggy Instamart using HDFC Swiggy OG, which gives 10% cashback. Occasionally, I use Amazon Fresh with ICICI Amazon Pay for 5% cashback. - ₹18,000 cashback annually.

Utility Bills (₹10,000/Month): I use HDFC PhonePe Ultimo RuPay Select, which gives 10% cashback capped at ₹1,000 per month. - ₹12,000 cashback annually

Fuel (₹2,000/Month): I use either IDFC FIRST Power+ or Axis Bank IndianOil depending on the Fuel pump. Both provide approximately 5% value back on fuel spends. On my annual fuel spend of around ₹24,000, this translates into approximately ₹1,200 cashback per year. (Since Axis IndianOil is LTF, I am seriously considering closing IDFC FIRST Power+ in the future.)

Dining (₹15,000/Year): I use Swiggy Dineout through HDFC Swiggy OG and generally get around 10% cashback. - ₹1,500 cashback annually.

Local Commute - Uber (₹2,000/Month): I purchase Tata Neu gift cards and use them for Uber payments, generating an effective cashback of around 7%. - ₹1,700 cashback annually.

Online Shopping (₹20,000/Year): My spends are mainly on Flipkart, Amazon, Myntra, Ajio, Electronics & Appliances etc. I use HDFC Swiggy OG / Amazon pay for most purchases and get around 5% cashback. - ₹1,000 cashback annually.

CA Membership Fee (₹4,000/Year): I use AU CA Metal, which gives 25% cashback on ICAI-related spends. - ₹1,000 cashback

Miscellaneous POS Spends (~₹65,000/Year): I use HDFC Tata Neu Infinity for regular offline POS transactions and get approximately 1.5% cashback. - ₹1,000 cashback annually.

UPI Payments (~₹25,000/Year): I am not a heavy UPI user, but whenever I use it, I route it through HDFC PhonePe Ultimo RuPay Select for approximately 1% cashback. - ₹250 cashback annually.

Airport Lounge Access: I use the Bank of Baroda CA Exclusive card because I don’t have to dedicate any of my own spending towards lounge eligibility. The spending criteria are generally met at the ICAI program/group level, allowing me to focus entirely on cashback optimization across my other cards.

Expected Outcome:
• Total Annual Cashback: ~₹40,000
• Total Annual Card Fees: ~₹2,000 + GST
• Net Annual Benefit: ~₹37,000–38,000

Cards Currently Not Assigned to a Specific Spending Category:
• SBI SimplyCLICK
• HDFC Regalia First
• ICICI Sapphiro RuPay
• YES Bank Select
• YES Bank UPI RuPay
• IDFC FIRST Wealth

The reason I still keep these cards is that they are among the core cards of their respective banks.

American Express SmartEarn - I have no plans to close it. I want to remain within the Amex ecosystem

My Questions to the Community:

1. Which cards should I close?
2. Which cards should I add?
3. How would you restructure this?

Looking forward to your roasting and recommendations. Thanks in advance!
