Is anyone using the little Sony f2.5 for Infrared photography ? Is it safe from hot-spotting?

I cannot find any reference to it on Kolari, Ed Noble or Life Pixel.

Has anyone tried the new, highly-regarded, APO Viltrox EVO lenses (35 or 55mm) with infrared ?

AI suggests, based on the design, to stay clear with too much risk of hot-spotting. I wondered if this assessment is true in reality?

Anyone using the Voigtlander 35mm f/2 APO Lanthar for IR, is it hot-spot safe ?

I can find only Kolari referencing it, but with no details and no reference to the mount used.
