Had some nice finds over the last couple of months. Wide range of styles, including some ambient and good Brit stuff. A few classics mixed in that I don’t have copies of yet, along with a handful of things I’m not familiar with and will check out.
I’m not a metal fan but I grabbed this at the thrift recently. Listened to it the other day while drinking some beers and cleaning records. Pretty badass, very fun listen!
Most of these are from a little yard sale type thing I ran into on the west side of Chicago. Never seen anything like the second pic. Brand new 45’s in their original packaging? No great titles, but pretty cool anyway.
Nobody was interested in these at a church sale I recently went to, so they came home with me, for a steal. I don’t collect these, but there was too much awesome stuff to pass on it. Maybe I need to get a player now.
Very excited about finding some of these. First two photos are from the thrift shop, lucky timing. Lots of great albums that I don’t have, looking forward to listening . The Deftones in the red case is a limited edition, though it doesn’t have the card with a number on it.
Last slide is another solid haul I grabbed at an estate sale over the weekend. Good stuff, don’t tell my wife, running out of room.
Stopped at a thrift store that I rarely go to, because they’ve had the same music for months. Turns out someone dropped off a nice collection recently. The clerk said they all came from one person which was pretty obvious, considering it was mixed in with a show tunes and classical. Super excited to find some quality UK electro, with some other random stuff included. Couple of pretty rare ones. 10 for $5. There was a guy in front of me that had a stack that he was buying , wish I was there 10 minutes earlier.
Some good thrift store grabs in the last few weeks. Most were a buck. Was excited about the Tom Waits live disc, but it seems to be a bootleg. Finally found a Tool disc!
