Sporting Clays

How often do you need to shoot to become respectable? I can hold my own on most other range events.

Was humbled again yesterday (my 3rd or 4th attempt) shooting a 39.

Had a helluva lot of fun though…

Hadn’t been to the theater yet this year. Knowing that my annual popcorn bucket was no longer good, I planned on buying a new one for 2026.

Well, I was wrong. No more buckets. The deal is now $30, and the container I got was about 2/3 the size of the bucket.

As I read up on this after the movie, it’s no longer $5 to get the fill, but 50% off the retail price?

Should have checked it out beforehand.

Had the oil changed and the service advisor recommended changing the HEPA filter.

The vehicle is one year old with 28k miles.

Anyone change their own? I’ll go check it on YouTube but as always appreciate all of your input.

50 years of perfection. But…

Confession. My 13 year old self would record all the favorite albums to a cheap cassette in order to take them to go.

Like most other kids with no extra money I bought cheap Radio Shack 3 packs of recording tapes.

This album was just a few minutes too long for the 60 minute tape, and using a 90 minute tape would waste too much space.

At 13, the song to skip was obvious. Sorry ‘Jody Girl’, you didn’t make the cut.

I mean seriously, who needed that ballad when there were rockers from cover to cover?!

Looking back, I have to apologize to the song, because from a lyrical standpoint it is amazing. It’s amazing how life experience changes your point of view.

Thanks for listening.
