This is Oscar. He loves the idea of car rides but not the practice. He gets all bent out of shape after about 10 minutes. Shaking, panting, won’t settle etc. We have a two hour journey tomorrow and I’m feeling like he’s getting too old to suffer it. He tolerates gabapentin well, but I have never used it for car rides. Thoughts / opinions? Advice? He will be very happy when we get there and shrugs it off quickly.

PUPDATE: he’s only a little high on one pill, but at least he’s laying down. That’s progress. Still panting but no shaking. Thanks Reddit fam.

Saw this bag online in pristine condition. No box, no dust cover or paperwork but in pristine condition. Asked a girlfriend about it, and now she’s offering to sell me hers, not sure of pricing but would also be pristine. I like this bag because I’ve been looking for a waist bag to go to concerts with, but I also like the versatility of wearing on the shoulder. The SA took some pictures and it appears to tip forward when worn on the shoulders. Influencer/de-influence me. I was looking a the Boy WOC as well.

After a long and arduous journey, my mother’s estate is finally settled and I feel like treating myself.

I’ve always admired the Boy bag, but the price tag has me a bit sick so I’m trying to convince myself I’d be satisfied with a WOC. I would love a fancy bag for going out. The only luxury bag I have in this category is the YSL mini Lou Camera in black and silver, so think I need gold hardware.

Or, do I try to find a Hermes Evelyne in black? The Hermes game for a QB is daunting, but I would only want to buy an Evelyne 16 new in black only….is finding this bag in the Toronto store even feasible with zero purchase history? I know Evelyne isn’t a QB, but I don’t know how well the stores are stocked as I’ve never walked into one.

I have a few “daytime” luxury bags already, including:

- Celine Triomphe canvas mini bucket
- Chloe small Marcie in navy blue
- Gucci Blondie tassel camera in black
- Acne Camaro Kit in black

Realistically, I would get more wear out of the Hermes as my esthetic is fairly casual, jeans or leggings, high top runners or sambas, a band shirt. I work in a corporate role in the beauty industry so my day to day, think geometric interesting black clothing “corp goth”, and that vibe bleeds into my going out vibe. I mostly wear black, I’ve been trying to wear color but only want a black bag …..Anything else I should be looking at? I should add that I really want to buy new for the full experience. Please influence / de influence me.

My two 13 year old babies. Bonnie (dark) is in remission from IMHA. Oscar (pug mix) is rebounding from a sore neck from getting out of bed wrong. They are costing a fortune at the vet at the moment, but they are 💯 worth it.

Yes, I gave them a Bark-mitzvah. If they make it to 16, I’m teaching them how to drive.
