TR and Lowering Springs

Anyone in here with a TR have any experience with lowering springs? I know we have slightly stiffer suspension and I do like it, but the last thing I want is to throw springs on and have it unbearably hard.
Considering coilovers but want to preserve the OEM suspension as much as I can and springs are a cheaper option as well.

FH6 Graphical Issues

See pics - this game ran great until a couple days ago. Now I’ve been running into issues where not all of the textures will load and there’s weird graphical glitches all over. Most commonly the ground will be invisible like in the pics. I’ve also experienced pretty bad stuttering when docked. Anybody know a fix?

Front Plate Delete

Previous owner added this front plate and it’s the kind that bolts through the bumper, not stuck on. Anyone gotten rid of these before? What’s the best solution? Really don’t want to have to have a body shop fill the holes and paint…

PSA: Avoid AFD!

I didn’t listen to anyone on here and ordered Aeroflow Dynamics V3 fenders. I thought “they can’t be THAT bad”. Boy was I wrong.

First off, they are covers. I guess I didn’t really process that when I placed the order. When I arrived and I realized they’re 3m covers, I asked support if I could start a return to place an order of the full fender flare replacements. They said they have a non returnable policy on the covers.

Second, the fitment is absolutely terrible. I spent hours on them trying to get the fitment as good as I can, and even then, the gaps are way too big and they look so cheap.

Third, the covers COVER the pop clips for mud flaps. So, I had to literally cut the fender flare covers to expose my clips so I could still keep my mud flaps on.

Fourth, and the final nail in the coffin, is the screenshot you see. About 2 weeks after installing, I realized they were supposed to come with two small pieces for the trim in front of the front tires. I reached out and said I’m missing them, they said it’s a known issue with their manufacturer and they’ll ship the replacement parts. I asked if there’s an ETA, “not at this time”. Nice.

I hope this gets visibility so people don’t make the same mistake I did. Planning to make a YouTube video going more in depth on how terrible the quality and customer service is too so people can be educated on this company.

And if any of you in here work for AFD, I would love a set of the legit covers to replace this sack of garbage that I paid over $500 for from you. Or maybe at least just an ETA on when I’ll get my trim pieces, but apparently that’s too difficult to figure out?

“Gentleman’s exhaust” recommendations

The stock exhaust is fine, but let’s face it, it’s missing a lot. I love a loud exhaust but for the amount I drive this (daily) and how my wife hates the cold start EVEN WITH stock exhaust, I need to find something that keeps things tame while still giving me the rumble and audible feedback I need for shifting without looking at the tach.

I’ve been eyeing the ETS catback resonated and muffled. Anyone out there running this and loving it? Is it quiet enough? Or should I look at something like the lachute performance catback?

I also love the pops and burbles that this car throws out with the stock tune, and I would love to be able to hear those a little more prominently with a different exhaust.

Open to whatever recommendations yall have!

TR Wheels Value

Looking to sell my OEM TR wheels and tires with about 10k miles on them locally, and I’m really not sure what they are even worth. There’s no listings on eBay and none in my area either. Anyone know what these go for?

Am I making a mistake by selling or trading them? Should I just save up and buy a new set and keep them?

OE STI Wing Template (AFD)

I recently purchased an AFD STI Wing from someone on Facebook marketplace. It came with all the hardware but not a template. AFD is quoting me $30 plus shipping for a piece of paper (not surprised).

Anyone have an alternative solution to install? Or anyone have an extra lying around they would ship to me? (I’ll cover cost)

Finally

Finally, the day has come. Welcomed my new (to me) ‘24 TR in WRB with 10k miles with open arms this afternoon.
I have owned two WRXs in the past, an 08 hatch and an 09 hatch. While I do miss the character those had, this is extremely fun to drive and feels so premium.

What did YOU pay for your WRX?

I’m officially one week away from pulling the trigger on a WRX. Still deciding on what exactly I want, and part of that is because I’m unsure realistically what sort of discounts you can get on new cars in the market right now. I’m in Texas, but I’m curious what people are paying for their 2026 WRXs in the current market?

Estimated Performance - Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight

Currently all I own is a Thor max and a Switch 2. The new Lego Batman game isn’t coming to the switch for a while, so I’m considering another handheld so I can play it. However, if it will be playable on the Thor I wouldnt have to. Does anyone have any idea if it will be playable through GameHub at least around 30fps? Or am I just dreaming?

New VS Used VB - Thoughts?

I need help deciding, should I buy a new or used WRX? Here are my thoughts for both options:

New: biggest thing with new is I get the three year warranty so I don’t have to deal with any issues, and I can get a much lower interest rate. really the only negative here is the depreciation which isn’t as bad as most cars since they hold their value well but would still lose a good amount in the first few years.

used: no warranty, but seeing how reliable this platform is Im not sure if that matters like it used to. I also get a little more buying power to be able to get a higher trim compared to buying new. also, the warranty wouldn’t be hanging over my head keeping me from doing mods that I want!

really struggling to decide between the two. Currently leaning towards new just for peace of mind. anyone here had bad experiences buying a used VB?

I've been eyeing a VB for a long time now, and I think it's finally time to pull the trigger. My biggest question is: is it worth the extra cost for the limited? I really value sound so the Harmon Kardon is a big plus, but I find some premiums with that option from the factory so it's really just a matter of cloth or leather seats I think.
My heart tells me I want leather and alcantara, but my bank account says save the extra 2k.

(looking at a 2022-2023)
