Resignation letters

Is it rude to use "dear hiring manager" in a resignation email/letter? Obviously it's not using their name which seems disrespectful, but is it?

Or is it acceptable?

Fired after 2 weeks no shifts

So I worked in this place almost 2 years, no problems.

A non serious incident happened, two weeks ago, which they have just told me about. (I had zero shifts this time) so had no idea what was happening.

They have called me in tomorrow morning for a "chat" (firing), but there's no point going in because I already know I'm out. Yes I did have a 0 contract, but do you think they should have told me immediately about the incident?

After 2 weeks seems odd to me...

Ask for layoff/redundancy letter

I'm being fired, but can I ask for a layoff letter? I'm pretty sure the manager will happily give me one to get it over and done with. Not being let go for anything serious. Been there longer than the new management also and didn't cause any problems for 2 years. I am in the UK.

Can they get in trouble if they say someone is let go to "company restructure" or the role is no longer needed?

Even though it's not the exact reason?

Jobseekers first application

Ok so this is my first ever jobseekers claim.

It's asking me my exact pay each month but I'm on a zero contract, last week I only got one shift, next week who knows .

What am I supposed to enter for this question?

It doesn't give any option other than exact amount paid into bank account?

Trouble with UC calculating

Can anyone help me please.

I'm having trouble using the benefits calculators.

My situation is pretty simple:

-Single age 37 (no partner/kids)

-Sharing house with other tenants (private house share)

-In part time work (16 hours week)

Just trying to figure out how much I could get (approx is fine). I believe it may be around £400 monthly

Thank you

Advice please

So I was very upset yesterday, I've calmed down now.

My manager has completely cut my hours due to an incident which isn't proven my fault. Also I had ONE sick day in ONE YEAR, which he is obviously displeased about (even though he has spend WEEKS in hospital this year!)

I wanted to vent to him yesterday and send him a passive aggressive email about these things.

Should I first ask to speak to him directly about what he is doing? He has done similar to other staff members aswell as "punishment".

Should I approach him calmly? Even though he wants me out I don't want to leave on awful terms.

Help please

So my manager has suddenly cut my hours to almost nothing, without explanation. Obviously I cannot survive on 6 hours a week. So I am being forced to quit so they don't have to fire me it looks like.

Will universal credit see this a being fired?

As they have not given me any reason for hours being dropped completely.

I've been in the job 2 years and done nothing wrong.

Leaving group chat

Guys when you leave a group chat, I'm aware only the admin gets notified - but is it a notification to your home screen (like when recieving an actual message) or it will just say "this person" left within the chat itself?

The second being nobody will know unless the chat is opened (this particular chat hasn't been viewed in weeks)

Trying to fire me

I really need advice. I work in a production kitchen and a piece of broken equipment was found in the food. The manager thinks it was my fault and is trying to get rid of me without any proof of whos mistake it was!

Even though the guy is very unprofessional, is it unprofessional of me to bring this up with him?

Hes passive aggressive in nature and can't even talk to people first. I'm so angry at the moment can someone please advise me thanks
