SCAM ALERT goread.io - Non-delivery of orders

Beware of goread.io

They are a website like many others who send fake/bot comments, likes, views etc.

But the only one I ever paid for without getting the order delivered.
It has been 10 days, they tried to fool for several days, replying each time within 2 hours- your order is escalated, your order is now highly escalated, now your order is urgent, as if the order will be escalated to the president at some point.

Then they stopped replying once I asked for a refund as I had had it after more than a week.

Also, I have now heard from another creator that using them leads to a 80-95% drop in real engagement within a couple of weeks, and is a huge loss for the long term. Choose your own risks.

H1b visa fraud is too accepted at this point. Not targeting any particular group, but nevertheless it is a legal loophole and needs attention.

The recruiters might benefit from a list of H1B abusing businesses who are very good at marketing themselves, and so are their employees. In a combination with AI, this is serious.

I go first: Opelsoft LLC, Jersey

I just came across a LinkedIn post that:

  • Advertises a business Opelsoft LLC , and calls for experienced IT worksers. The requirements? You won't believe. No skill, nothing. I copy paste:

Ideal Candidates:

🔹 Hold an active H-1B visa or require a visa transfer

🔹 Have been recently laid off or are actively seeking new opportunities

  • I was shocked so I clicked and saw that 90% of the employees of this small business are "open to work" on Linkedin.... whaaaat?
  • I found another LinkedIn post that seeks help for its "benched" consultants (which most of them are)
  • For such a small company of around 25 people, it files for 20+ h1b visas per year

I am not a Republican, and everyone should deserve and lead a responsible + happy life, but the job market is a competition. For each job, someone gets it and the other doesn't. The RIGHT person for the job deserves it. There is a reason there is law, and law is not supposed to be abused.
