I have what is considered mild scoliosis… but dang, I’m having a lot of achyness and pinching feeling on the side that’s compressed. Anyone else get this? It comes and goes. I’m super active so I imagine it just flares up when my body decides it’s had too much. weird thing is, the more I move it, the better I feel (short term) then it will flare up later when I’m resting again. It’s almost like moving the muscle keeps it loose and then it has a chance to seize up later. Anyone experience this? I roll it out often, stretch, take aleve, etc, more so just trying to know I’m not alone and that this is “normal” given the curvature…
Symptoms have been extreme back and leg pain that intensifies around period…
My cramps get pretty awful. they used to be worst though.
my cycle is regular…
I’m type 1 diabetic though, and my insulin fluctuates an insane amount (I’m talking 75% fluctuations..) throughout my cycle, which is definitely not normal.
Bloating often
Weight gain
Not super tired I’d say, I sleep probably 9hours a night but don’t require naps
Still working out a ton
All this to ask - has anyone had endo with not many of the typical symptoms other than pain around cycle in hip/leg and upper back on one side?! I hadn’t thought about endo until I realized it was often happening around cycle
Any t1ds have to change their long acting and short acting ratios EACH WEEK of their cycle???
I just finished my period .. can barely manage 5 units of long acting and a like 10:1 ratio with short acting
As my cycle goes along, I get up to 22 units of long acting, and like 6:1 ratio with stubborn insulin resistance
This seems like a drastic change and super frustrating because each day I’m fighting lows and highs because I never know what I’m gonna be
Anyone else face this? Or could this hint at something more like PCOS, etc? Just wondering if fluctuations like this are normal….
Any t1ds take rybelsus??? Just got prescribed…
Overall not looking to lose weight too much (a bit would be nice because I’m getting that would make my sugars easier to manage) but ideally want to get a bit better control of my numbers and not have to pump insulin like it’s water some days… I’m not sitting at a massive BMI (25/26) but control has been hectic. anyone have experience??
