I recently got a game mat and figured I should look into getting/making some terrain for it so I have a cohesive map. How many pieces do I need? And how big should they be?
Also, as a bit of a side question set, is there any place you get your terrain? Or stls for printing? Any good looking volcanic terrain pieces out there?
Pretty happy with the point reductions, it's gonna make it easier to field the scourge of aqshy (welcome back from ghyran) runeson. The new vulkyn look pretty nice, likely less situational than the original anti monster ability. The new intense fyrestream looks like an auto include to me, if used with the new rune of farsight it could be pretty devastating into infantry. As far as the updated prayer lore goes, it looks alright to me, not sure if I'll be replacing the zhargrim blessings tho. What do you guys think?
Hey slayers, I've recently noticed I've been missing out on couple of rules that could have made for far stronger interactions, but could use some help deciding if it's smart to actually invest in them.. The setup I'm thinking of is runefather on foot with reinforced broadaxe hearthguards as his retinue, grimwrath to the side of the hearthguards and runefather on magmadroth next to grimwrath.
If the droth gets damaged, hearthguards get a relatively sustainable bonus 1 attack. If runefather on magmadroth uses warrior kings that's 41 attacks, on charge with 2+ to hit and 2+ to wound.
Grimwrath with I'll protect them with my life gets a 4+ ward near hearthguards and the magmadroth. With warrior kings and fight twice it's 12 attacks with 2+ 3+ 2 rend and 2 damage.
Popping an upgraded rune of searing heat and adding 1 rend on top would make it even crazier.
My question is, is this really as good as it seems or am i missing something? I can imagine the setup for this would be quite difficult, but does it make it inefficient? I don't have too much experience yet so any input is welcome!

So far I've played against skaven, flesh eaters and nurgle, with nurgle feeling the hardest followed by skaven and flesh eaters last. It feels like mobility, tankiness and shooting are the most difficult things to deal with. Is this a general rule of thumb or is there more to what i should look out for/avoid/focus? And which factions are good for our strengths and which are kind of a counter?
Personally I built hybrid udyr about a year ago before taking a break and got into AD udyr lately but kinda miss the extra slow from hybrid udyr. I tried coming up with a decent build, but I don't think I really got it. I tried DaD into statikk into tank items, but that didnt work great. I tried Liandrys into sundered sky into tank items which still felt like it lacked survivability somehow (might have also just played poorly of course). What would you guys build for a hybrid?
