Earlier today I was intrigued by the cost of Treasure chests on a website and I decided to buy 20 chests for $32/32 tickets.

I ended up getting 225 Play Points (I was expecting a minimum of 100, so, was rather happy with that)

But that basically means I yielded $20-$22 in “value” based on the cost of Event Tickets.

But what did I spend my other $10-$12 on exactly? A bunch of rares and mystics I can’t sell because none of the websites are buying them to trade them back in (I checked)?

What’s the point in buying Treasure Chests? Nothing?

I’m struggling to find a way to stop Madness from dealing 16-24 damage in one turn. They don’t need to attack to kill you. It’s basically a combo deck. As soon as one of the spellslingers hit the field, they can win, especially after turn 4-5. I’ve noticed that they can sit on resources, drop one, and if/when it resolves, win on the stack. One Bolt, two Lava Dart’s, and a Fireblast is usually enough to win. Sometimes they’ll have an extra Dart or an extra Fireblast ready for a response (that’s the smart play anyway)

I’ve lost games where I’ve been over 30 life on the stack, trying to target to kill a spellslinger that was just cast.

It doesn’t seem like there’s a way to stop it, besides countering the spellslinger itself. Removal doesn’t matter.

It’s so so so frustrating.

Again, yes, I understand it’s chain burn and essentially a combo, but I hate that there’s no interaction to it.

Weather the Storm doesn’t do anything, Crypt Incursion doesn’t do anything, because they can respond to the cast and still kill you if they’re able to. Removal doesn’t do anything, all because of the rules of the stack.

Any advice?

I have an Epson ET-4810 inkjet

I’ve printer 1200 color photo pages with it. I’ve cleaned the print head several times and I still keep getting this red hue bleed on the end of the sheet (this is the last side of the page that prints). You can see it affecting the left side of the card, where the text is red/orange/white in shades

This problem also affected my ET2803 before I upgraded (I’d get it around 500-700 sheets printed)

So if it’s multiple different models and it’s not solved by cleaning the ink heads with a cleaning cycle… how can I fix this??

Update from the last two or three weeks from my last picture

I’ve added 1 more white Robin Hood, 3 Pinocchio (and 3 more are en route), 2 Dumbos, and 1 Sword in the Stone.

Robin Hood is so rare to find… I’ve only found two in 4-5 years!

During the episode where Tori wins immunity… I caught this and went back and watched it multiple times….

The letter Y block on the bottom of her table is still on the table after she releases the torqued rope. The table swings backwards and upside down (the table is PAST the legs of the post pointing toward her, you can see the angle and the shadow of the top)

It looks like the bottom block is glued to the table, making it impossible for her stack to slip off. Or at least giving her a serious advantage in the challenge.

I watched it in slow motion multiple times to get the screenshot. This isn’t an optical illusion - the table is upside down. You can see the shadow on the pole.

I’ve been collecting these since about 2018, recently skipped about 2 years but just started poking around the market again.

Was able to grab another white Dumbo this week, but few and far these days

These are the 1984-1986 padded clamshell versions of these tapes, with WHITE cases (opposed to the regular black cases during this run).

Based on my own research, the Pinocchio was about 1:100 current run (for every 100 black ones available on the market, you’ll find 1 white one), with the others being even rarer as can be seen by the collection I have.

I’ve only ever seen 1 white Robin Hood in my many years of collecting.

I’m curious if anyone else has found these anywhere! (I also have a sealed version of the black padded 1985 Pinocchio, and a sealed version of the white padded 1985 Sword in the Stone)

After 1986, Disney started using the typical regular clamshell that they would use until about 2005 for VHS tapes, but these stand as an interesting small window into VHS tape history.

Over the last 2 days I’ve been tons of these errors on Proxxied PDF’s.

It’s not every PDF. In fact, MOST work. I’ve printed over 100 sheets without issues…

But randomly I’ll generate a PDF and this will happen. Only on Proxxied PDF files….

It’s wasting ink, paper, and time. And I’m getting really annoyed

Does anyone know what’s going on?

So I’ve been noticing these black lines appearing on random cards. The feedback I’ve gotten from some people on other forums is “Scryfall has an issue and so the black lines issue because of corruption in the file when downloaded.” This isn’t the only card. It seems to effect Secret Lairs a lot (namely SpongeBob and Jurassic Park, and Relentless Rats, all off the top of my head)

And … that all made sense…..

Until I created my own custom card on a proxy maker, never went near Scryfall, and uploaded it to Proxxied and got the same black line on top like this one here.

When I saw this error again today I felt like posting to ask if anyone has experienced this

But

I’ve also noticed a different error with Proxxied where sometimes it pulls an art card of a card (it happened with this Ghalta), and when I go to change the art…. It doesn’t generate the right art and says the art card is the only option.

It also happened with Braids, Arisen.

I’ve also not been able to access alternative arts of Rhystic Study or Arcane Signet either. It just says one art exists (namely the newest versions).

I know there’s multiple things to address here, but any help or insight is appreciated!

A year ago today (can’t make that up) I got this error on my Epson ET2803. And you can see the issues I had dealing with it. I ended up just buying another printer

On December 8th, 2025- 7 months later - the SAME THING happened on the new printer. Let alone 2.5 years later. Because I knew it was a headache…. I waited until after Christmas and bought a new printer in January 2026

TODAY. I get the error you’re seeing in the second picture. 5 months after I bought the new printer

So the first 2803 lasted 2.5 years
The second 2803 lasted 7 months
The third 2803 lasted 5 months

Does anyone else have a fix for this problem? Has anyone else had this happen?

Dealing with Epson to get them to reset the counter involves mailing it back and waiting “2-4 weeks” for them to reset it themselves. Even if you replace the ink pad yourself. The code they provide to override the error is only a temporary fix, you still have to mail it back to them

I really don’t want to buy another one just for the same thing to happen in another 5-6 months, I’m basically paying a monthly rental fee of the cost divided by total months (plus the cost of ink) at this point just to print proxies.
