I tried getting good photos, but for around a year or so, this has been happening to my finger. It initially started by my nail but it has spread. I tried everything, Vaseline, E45, cereve, and don’t hate I know it was a dumb idea but I used a nail file to try and remove it but it only seemed to make it work. Idk how to describe the way it feels other than it’s really rough, like catching on certain clothes rough (doesn’t stick but you get the point). Idk if this context will help but I was a chronic nail biter and now I mainly bite the skin under or around my nails the past few years so idk if that’s the problem but it’s also starting on my thumb pad as well and I’ve never bitten there before. Also idk if this will help either but I think a few years ago some super glue may have got stuck there (may have) don’t quote me on this, but maybe that’s why this is happening. I really don’t know. If anyone has any suggestions on how to make my skin smooth and normal again please lmk or if this has happened to you please lmk what you did, because I don’t think I’ve seen this happen to anyone else
