Easy marks- TVO or OVS?

I’m trying to decide between OVS and TVO ILC for Grade 12 science courses.

I’ve seen really mixed reviews about OVS—some people say the exams don’t match the course content and are harder than expected, while others recommend it.

My main priorities are getting high grades, fair exams, fast marking/transcripts, and being able to finish 4 Grade 12 courses by December.
For those who’ve done either, which would you recommend?

TBO ILC VS OVS - NURSING

For Ontario college admissions, does it matter if you upgrade Grade 12 courses through TVO ILC or Ontario Virtual School (OVS)? Are they treated the same for competitive programs like Nursing, Radiography, or Sonography, or is one viewed more favourably?

Ultrasonography - OVS vs TVO ILC

For anyone who got into Mohawk Ultrasonography, does it matter if you upgrade your prerequisites through TVO ILC vs Ontario Virtual School (OVS)? Are they viewed the same, or is one preferred?

Mohawk’s Ultrasonography (750)

I’m hoping to apply to Mohawk’s Ultrasonography (750) program.
I already have a bachelor’s degree (not in science), 93% in Grade 12 English, 92% in Grade 12 Math, and I’m upgrading my Biology, Chemistry, and Physics through TVO ILC.
If I finish the science prerequisites with around a 90–92% average, do I have a realistic chance of getting in? Has anyone been accepted through direct entry after upgrading their high school sciences? I’d love to hear your experience.

Grade 12 bio and chem doable in 1-2 months?

For anyone who’s taken SBI4U and SCH4U through TVO ILC: is it realistic to finish both courses by the end of August if I study full-time? How long did the assignments, marking, and final exams take? I’m trying to have both final grades by early September. Thanks!

Ultrasonography program/ TVO ILC or Prehealth?

Hi everyone! I’m hoping to apply to Mohawk’s Ultrasonography (750) program and I’m looking for some advice from current students or anyone who has been accepted.
A little about me:
● I already have a bachelor’s degree (not in science).
● I’m currently upgrading my Grade 12 Biology and Chemistry through TVO ILC and will be taking Physics next.
● My Grade 12 English is 93% and my Grade 12 math is 92%.
I have a few questions:
1. Does having a non-science bachelor’s degree help at all, or do admissions mainly focus on the prerequisite grades?
2. Is it worth applying directly after upgrading my sciences, or is Pre-Health a better route if I don’t get in?

4 courses in 6 months?

Hi everyone,

I need to take grade 12 bio and chem and grade 11 and 12 physics. I need to finish by December or January to apply by February for sept 2027. Is it doable? Or should I just go with ovs? My mail concern is the timeline at the moment

ILC or OVS

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to apply to Mohawk’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program for the February application cycle, so I need to complete my prerequisites by January.
I need to upgrade these four courses:
● SPH3U (Grade 11 Physics)
● SPH4U (Grade 12 Physics)
● SBI4U (Grade 12 Biology)
● SCH4U (Grade 12 Chemistry)
I’m trying to decide between TVO ILC and Ontario Virtual School (OVS).
For anyone who has used either (or both), I’d really appreciate your advice:
● Which one is better if I’m aiming for the highest grades possible (hopefully 85–90%+)?
● Which has better teachers and support?
● Which is easier to learn from if it’s been several years since high school?
● Which returns assignments/tests faster?
● Is it realistic to finish all four courses by January if I start this summer?
● Did your final marks get sent to OUAC/OCAS on time for college or university applications?
● If you were applying to a competitive health program, which would you choose and why?
Thanks so much!

OVS or ILC

OVS or TVO ILC? I need to complete Grade 11 Physics and Grade 12 Physics, Biology, and Chemistry by January

so I can apply in February. Which is better for getting high marks (85–90%+), better teacher support, faster marking, and getting final grades submitted on time? It’s been 6–7 years since I graduated, so I’d love to hear from anyone who’s used either one. Which would you choose and why?

Normal pelvic ultrasound but constant lower back and pelvic pain

Hi everyone,
I’m a 23-year-old female. About 2 weeks ago I developed constant lower back pain (right above my buttocks), along with pelvic heaviness, groin pain, and pain that sometimes radiates into my thighs.
I had a transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic ultrasound. Everything was normal except for a small 8 mm endometrial polyp. My blood work was also normal.
I’ve had painful periods for years, but this back and pelvic pain is completely new.
I’m waiting to see a gynecologist, but I’m wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms despite a normal ultrasound. What ended up being the cause?

endometrial polyp

I'm 23 years old I went to the ER today for pelvic pain and lower back pain. They did bloodwork, a pelvic ultrasound, and a transvaginal ultrasound. The ER doctor said my ovaries looked normal and diagnosed me with an endometrial polyp. He told me it was not serious and referred me to a gynecologist through PCRN.
I’m really anxious because I’ve never had a gynecologic issue before. I get regular monthly periods. My bleeding is usually light to moderate, not heavy. I don’t have frequent abnormal bleeding, maybe occasional spotting once in a while. My main symptom has always been painful cramps during my periods.
I’m worried about fertility and the possibility of cancer even though the ER doctor wasn’t concerned. Has anyone else been diagnosed with an endometrial polyp in their early 20s? What was your experience, and did it end up requiring treatment or removal?

Pelvic pain after Iv

A few days ago I went to the doctors because I was feeling very dizzy and lightheaded. I've had a saline IV before without any issues, but this time they added vitamins.
Within about a minute of starting the vitamin IV, I suddenly felt like I couldn't breathe properly, so they stopped the infusion.
Right afterward, I developed severe cramps (10/10 pain). 10x worse than period like cramps. They gave me medication and the severe pain eventually went away.
It's been a few days and I'm still having lingering pelvic soreness and mild cramping. The pain is mostly in my lower pelvic area and can be worse when walking.
My urine test was normal except for 3+ protein. The doctor asked if I work out which could be cause of protein.
Has anyone experienced severe pelvic cramping after a vitamin IV infusion or from an IV running too fast? I'm struggling to think of another explanation for the sudden cramps. I had finished my period 2 days before I went to the doctors
