[SOTC] I've put the last piece of the puzzle together.

Happy to jot down some notes on completing this watch box.

Here are my impressions of these watches:

124270: Feels fantastic on the wrist, but a little small.

126610: Feels a bit too big on the wrist; compared to the 116503, it's longer overall.

116503: Feels great on the wrist.

16233: Feels fantastic on the wrist; the 18K gold chain in the center is hollow, making it a little light.

Omega Seamaster: Feels good on the wrist, but adjusting the date is too troublesome, so I don't wear it often.

Balanny Pie-Pan Watch: Feels fantastic on the wrist. The size is perfect.

Omega Pie-Pan Watch: Feels fantastic on the wrist. I rarely wear it because the luminous coating on the dial is from before the 1960s and emits radiation.

118238 DD: Feels fantastic on the wrist; it's heavy and has a good weight to it. Although both the 124270 and the 118238 are 36mm watches, the 118238 appears larger on the wrist.

The Patek Philippe 3588 looks good on the wrist and also appears larger. Its size is 35mm.

The Longines single-button chronograph feels a bit thick on the wrist, and the automatic rotor occasionally feels like it's spinning too fast.

What watch should I buy next? Rolex DJ? Rolex GMT? IWC Engineer?

My first Chinese watch, with unexpectedly high quality.

For over a decade, I've been buying various watches, Swiss and Japanese.

A few months ago, I was having dinner with a friend and noticed he was wearing a watch that looked great. This made me start paying attention to Chinese watches.

Recently, Baltany released this pie-pan watch, and the reviews were quite positive.

I was tempted and bought one. I already have several Omega pie-pan watches.

This is a good opportunity to compare them.

  1. The inner case is a bit thicker.

  2. The size is more suitable for wearing with a watch. Omega watches tend to run a bit small.

  3. The see-through case back and the brand's automatic rotor are highlights.

  4. The lugs are a bit wider, which I like. It balances the dial size better and prevents the watch from looking like only has a dial.

I took some close-up photos. What do you think?

Finally, here's a picture of another pie-pan watch with stick hour markers. I hope Baltany will release a watch with this dial as well; if they do, I'll buy one too.

What model of Rolex should I buy next?

These are some of my Rolex watches, various types including sports and dress watches.

In order of purchase date: 126210LN, 16233, 124270, 6426, 116503, 118238.

Of these, I wear the 116503, 124270, and 16233 the most. I recently bought the 118238 and have been wearing it on my wrist ever since.

The Submariner 126210 and 116503 are only 2mm apart in size, but I find the 116503 more comfortable. The overall length and clasp are shorter.

My wrist circumference is 6.5 inches, and I wear a large watch...

What should I buy next? I'm thinking of buying the 126233. Do you have any other recommendations?
