Found some fun pieces: an antique liquor tag and a vintage Sculptural Calla Lily Candle Holder by Hans Jensen

I got this lion ring for mother's day, and I love it! I'm wondering though if I should take it to a jeweler and see about try to restore some details on the nose.

Should I bother? Has anyone else tried to have detailing restored on a gold piece?
