Peacock Fern

Peacock Fern

I feel like this group will appreciate the find I made at Bachmans today. I'm excited to try my hand at this in my terrarium. Any tips?

First Black Opal

So I got this on clearance, marked from 110 to 59, then taking off 25 for a coupon and then another 25 or 30 for a credit I had. I think I basically just paid for shipping, maybe like 10 bucks.

Was it worth it? It is Australian, 1 carat, it does light up under uv. The back is light bluish potch (not a doublet, just not flashy).

Sorry if my photos are not the best. I like it either way and it will definitely go on my opals of the world shelf ;) just curious if I got a good deal.

Iridescent Carboniferous Linopteris Fern Fossil 😍

I'm so excited to add this to my rock collection! The seller said they are naturally occurring and found at the Llewellyn Formation in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. I love it!

First Fenton Animal

I found this adorable satin white and blue fenton bunny today at a church garage sale. I love him! He still has his signature, sticker and the Fenton stamp!

Second Hand Store Score!

It's so tall! Google says it is the Viking Epic Column Swung Vase in Smoke Brown?

I paid $35, which is kind of a lot for me, but I think it was worth it.

I love it 😍

Opinions on Possible Restoration

I got this lion ring for mother's day, and I love it! I'm wondering though if I should take it to a jeweler and see about try to restore some details on the nose.

Should I bother? Has anyone else tried to have detailing restored on a gold piece?

Thanks!
