New standard subscription and 99 cent trials

This might be a stupid question, but I got a few audio books during the 99 cent for 3 months trial not realising that there is a new standard payment plan that only allows you to listen to those while actively paying instead of getting to keep them.

Now my subscription ends and I have a few books left I never listened to and won’t have the time to all in a month 😩 Can I cancel my subscription for now and get access back for them if I get a new subscription after a few months (with the same account obviously) or will it all be gone?

Books about fear of intimacy

Looking for books that deal with a fear of intimacy for women that is not rooted in trauma or them being aromantic/ asexual.

I feel like it‘s such a common fear for women, but I rarely read about it especially if it‘s not rooted in trauma or a history of abuse (which is obviously common, but can come from many other reasons as well).

Looking for a book about Fear of Intimacy

Hello everyone, I‘ve been looking for books with main characters that are anxious and especially fearful of any kind of intimacy.

I‘m in my early 20s and usually love anything litfic that are more character driven or anything historical fiction. I think especially in litfic about women in their early 20s sex and intimacy always play a huge role and I rarely find books with characters who are intimated by it or even a bit afraid of it. And they should not be asexual or aromantic or anything. Like characters who do seek out relationships and intimacy but it‘s just harder for them maybe? Idek.

Any suggestions?

The feeling of a book hangover or something similar

I am currently rereading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I first read it in 2021 when it was very popular and enjoyed it. I‘ve always been into the golden Age of Hollywood and anything about celebrity culture etc so it was exactly my cup of tea and while I did find it sad, I never felt as emotionally impacted by it. I remember I shed a few tears when everything happened with her daughter but it wasn‘t like I thought about it constantly after.

Now with news about the film coming out etc., I thought why not reread and see if I enjoy it as much as the first time around and my gosh, why does it make me SO depressed.

It‘s not often that books make me feel sick to my stomach and I‘m not sure if I‘m just older now or what it is but it makes me so emotional I can‘t even describe it. Like I truly feel almost nauseous throughout my day and then realized that it‘s bc of the book. I had the same experience with TJR‘s book One True Loves but kind of in a bad way where I almost didn‘t finish it and kind of never want to think about it while with Evelyn Hugo, I want to step into this world.
I don‘t even know how to explain it but does someone have similar experience with this book or any other and has this weird gut feeling for like days or weeks?
Idek what part of the book triggers it but it makes so emotional that I could just cry thinking about it. Watching edits of it made me even more nauseous and none of my friends understand and I also suck at trying to explain it.

Maybe it‘s just a book hangover, I don‘t know but I appreciate any similar experience story!
