So, I have a crush on my ex classmate whom I've been texting for a few months. I asked her to meet and it was her birthday so I took her to a cafe and then after having some food I brought her a cake and she was so happy about it that she kept smiling and laughing. After cutting the cake I gave a birthday present and she was kind of speechless and just kept looking at me and she looked like she was about to cry.

After we went back home she read my note with the present where I wrote that she's cute. She texted that she got so emotional at that time and she's very thankful that I made her day.

But the thing that ruined my mood was when I tried to feed her the cake, she just took it in her hand😕.

Is this what being friendzoned is?

I'm going to meet my ex classmate(21F) after 5 years on her birthday (18th May). I asked her last month if we could meet in May and she said sure if she has free time as she's having her exams this month.

Her birthday is 3 days from today so I'm a little scared as it's approaching and I haven't told her yet that I'm coming to see her on her birthday.

I'm afraid she'll cancel and I don't know how to respond if she does cancel. Please tell me what to do or say if she refuses to meet.

I used to text her daily but haven't texted for 5 days now and neither does she send a Hi if I don't text.

If I don't meet her now then the next time I can visit her is December/January.

What should I do?

I've been texting this girl for 4 months now. We're both 21 and live in different cities. I told her I'll be visiting her this month and she said sure we can. She's the kind who would never initiate, she says she overthinks before talking so she doesn't talk at all.

I really don't know where we're heading. We talk about almost everything like stress, college, food, family, marriage, future, career and what not.

We talked about our opinions on relationships and she said she's not ready for one yet as she wants to stay out of immature dramas.

I'm going to see her on her birthday in two weeks. I'm gifting her a hair accessory. It's a piece of jewellery like a necklace to be worn on hair.
