In march of this year I was looking to buy a 3DS console, but when i saw the price i ended up buying a DS lite, but then I had to pay the price of buying an R4 and then the screen flex cable got damaged. I was thinking now of saving money for a 3DS, and the cheapest model i could find is the old 3DS, which in my country is 325.000 peso, equivalent to around 200$, newer models like the new 3ds, 2ds or 3ds xl exceed the 500-600$ dollar mark. Should i avoid the old 3ds or it could be a cheap alternative to the later models? Are they ressistant? Are the flex cables good?
I have my R36s with darkOS-RE and a WiFi dongle, is there a way to transfer rom files via samba (smb) or FTP? So its easier.
I'm curious if you can put some sort of 3DS emulator inside of the linux OS... idk i want to play some tomodachi life but the closest thing i got is an OG DS and the r36s
SOLVED
I got gifted a Mac Mini from late 2014 a few weeks ago and i used it to see what you could do, see i've never used a Mac before in my life, im used to Windows and a lot of Linux too. You know MacOS wasn't for that Mac anymore, the older versions are better but are not compatible with anything, and newer MacOS (Big Sur+) ran terrible and i didn't like them. BootCamp was so easy to use and Windows 10 (latest release) ran like 10x better plus it has better support for my random ass keyboard and mouse
So help me choose if Windows 10 or go for Debian if i have:
i5 2,6ghz w/intel iris
1280x1024 VGA monitor lol
I think debian with horizon or sway would look chefkiss
