Low Light Innovation MH-1 Part/Feature Request

From what I can tell the MH-1 uses a standard PVS-14 gain knob. My issue is that it's very close to the on/off wheel and battery cap making turning it kind of difficult. You can't really do it with gloves on. Does anyone make an extended PVS-14 gain knob or one similar in shape to the an/off wheel but extended?

Best non-Chinese dual band capable DMR encryption radio?

I've owned a TCA PRC-152 replica, while well built (2025 ver.) is very heavy and bulky compared to its capability. Of all the Chinesium radios I've owned, has been the best. Sadly, is only analog.

Baofeng "Notorola" DM32, while an impressive spec sheet, it hilariously low duty in its build quality. Zero water resistance, dim display...eh. Double or even triple the price, add water resistance and a better display, they'd own the market.

Tried a Ailunce HD2, which while on the base charger, the charger started smoking. No shit. Smells like burnt electronics. Further, the CPS experience is hot trash. The most recent CPS won't even read the radio, while the older one will. What they list as "programming" software on their website is firmware updates. To get to a CPS that will read the HD2 you have to go to the Ailunce website, not the Revetis one. All that to say, I'm done with half baked Chinese crap. If its made in China ok, but it has to come through another company, ie iPhone is made it China but designed by Apple.

So, please recommend me a dual band DMR radio that has encryption, regardless of cost.

An Actual Race Seat

I took a two day class at Barber in late May, which of course got rained on. I was using the Ducati Performance seat along with their carbon fiber tank extender. That seat being sold as a performance product is odd. It's just as slippery as the stock seat, even worse when wet. The rubber pads on the tank extender are slick as well.

Looking for a better solution, I ordered the Bikesplast seat pan from HSBK. Note, the pic they used is for the xx99 Panigale race seat. For $80 I figured it was worth a try.

https://www.hsbkracing.com/parts-an...ati-v4-v4s-v4r-panigale-racing-seat-pan-2018/

I couldn't find the pre-cut neoprene foam in stock anywhere in the US. There was a China based seller on eBay selling them, but the shape was wrong, at least it wasn't shaped like the Bikesplast/DB Holders foam.

I trimmed the edges and used some 180 grit sandpaper to smooth it and round the edges. I also sanded the seat with 180 grit and coated it with some Raptor undercoating to give it more of a finished look. I had a tank wrap from Raceseats.it for another bike. I cut pads for the carbon fiber tank grip out of that, using 180 grit again to smooth out the edges. If I can get more of whatever material they use, I'd like to make them bigger. If anyone knows where to get it, please let me know. The Raceseats.it website has been down for quite a while.

If you put your had on the seat, press down slightly then try to slide your hand, it won't budge. It really grips. This is in stark contrast to the stock and performance seat from Ducati.

Hunter Run Time Calculator Check

I've been fighting through some over watering issues with all the rain we've been getting. Using the run time calculator, it spits out what is in the first pic. Days is listed as two, which I take to mean two days per week. However, when I click the button "view specifier report" under the column labeled "runs (days/week)" it lists 3 as in the bottom pic. Which is correct?

Is doing the cycle & soak with virtual solar sync for reductions based on month the best way to set this up? Cool season grass, mostly clay soil in zone 7b. Thanks in advance!
