Congrats to everyone with a new Dark Horse!
I know how to ride a bicycle but besides that I've got nothing, never touched a bike or even a dirt bike. I'm 18, 6ft 2, 190lbs ish, what bike should I start on and how should I go about it? I've seen people recommend starting on anything from a 250 to a 600 for a new rider and I'm not sure what to think. For context I live in central Iowa and would mostly be riding around town. I love the looks of the sport bikes, especially the Kawasakis, but I'm not sure I would fit on one with a "safe" level of power. Before purchasing anything I would like to take the msf course as well. What advice could you give me and what should I do? Thanks everyone!
I recently bought my Mustang for around kbb value which I thought was fair, I even thought I got a good deal because I saw so many listed over that value! This is kind of going off of another post I saw in here but what's up with the market for these?? All sorts of different specs/miles/damage are going for anywhere between 20-40k from what I'm seeing. I've seen many cars with less options than mine listed for more money. I have a 2019 pp1 10spd gt coupe, with no accidents/damage and 60k miles, black on black. Also has the valved exhaust and 401a with digital dash. How much is my car actually worth? Did I get a steal of a deal or are all these listings just confusing me? What do you guys think?
Within a week I will be purchasing a 2019 Mustang GT Premium 10spd with the performance package, digital dash, and the valved exhaust. What should I do first? What should I look out for? What's surprising or unexpected for first time mustang owners? Let me know, I'm very very excited!! Car is completely bone stock btw, untouched!
I finally found a car that I may want to buy, spec wise. It is a 2019 Mustang GT Premium Coupe with the 10spd, 401a, pp1, and the active exhaust in shadow black. It has a great Carfax and the owner seems great, he's getting it inspected this week at a Ford dealer for me. Is there anything I'm missing out on here or anything that I should reconsider? How much do you think I should be paying for this car? Anything you all think just let me know or ask! I'm very excited but don't want to make a bad decision due to the excitement haha!
Note-
Has 60k miles and clean title/no damage reported.
I'm looking to buy a gen 3 coyote, and this one came up on marketplace recently. 2019 California special, 401a car, 10spd automatic and a roush blower claiming 730whp. Seller states it has been boosted for ~10k miles so since 64,000, has 74,000 total miles. My main concern is the transmission and the mileage. What do you guys think? Seems to be a beautiful car, but is the transmission on its way, do I have a lot of time left if I'm careful, any issues I may be overlooking? Let me know! :)
I have a 2013 g37x sedan 7at with about 135k miles. About 2 weeks ago I parked my car at work, and when I reversed, the car stalled out similarly to how a manual stalls when you mess up the clutch. I turned the car back on and it continued to do this in both drive and reverse. I thought the car would have to be towed. After work I tried one more time and gave it a bit of gas upon going into drive, I got it moving again and drove it home. Since then, it hasn't completely stalled out, but the idle in drive/reverse was very poor and seemed as if it wanted to cut out again. I did a transmission fluid drain and fill, since then it hasn't stuttered at idle in drive/reverse, or died, but it feels a bit jerky and indecisive on shifts, it also seems to rev a bit higher periodically. The car rolls just fine in neutral, and there aren't any issues in park. The car runs and drives as of right now but I'm scared to push it or drive it anymore than necessary for work/school. Does my entire transmission need replacement, is it my valve body, is it my torque converter, or could it be something else I haven't even thought of? Please let me know what you guys think, I'm not sure how much longer it'll drive and it's my daily so I kind of need it! Thank you so much in advance everyone!
