Both are flawed

Both are flawed

I got both the M12HD and M12S and both have essential flaws.

- The M12HD uses Switch 1 joy-con connectivity so connection are slow and disconnect sometimes. And it can only charge when the screen is on.

- The M12S on the other hand uses Switch 2 connectivity so it's much easier to pair. But boy oh boy, the rumble is so bad. I can only play when I turn the rumble off. It's so loud and vibrates way too strong. It's like those cheaper third-party joycons like Aolion.

Overall, the M12HD still offers a better playing experience. You only appreciate HD Rumble when you don't have it. But this is far from what I expected from Mobapad, especially with the excellent M6HD.

The M12S retro colour is very nice though.

Let's hope they have a better fix in the future

Refunded the Switch 2 version

I called in my once per account opportunity on Jotunnslayer. Such a shame. I liked the gameplay but last night after the game crashed on me 3 times playing Archmage at Alfheim, I've had enough. Luckily Nintendo responsed quickly and refunded me for the game and the Conan DLC.

Now I'm grinding back my progress on Steam Deck

Wukong Fitgirl Repack cannot launch through Steam

I was able to launch Black Myth Wukong via both Heroic and Lutris but cannot launch through Steam with shortcuts through those 2 launchers. I followed all the steps online and try different Wine version but still no luck. Anyone can help?

PS: I figured it out. Unlike many guides online, I disabled UMU in Heroic game settings and unchecked the "Force the use of a specific Steam play compatibility tool" in Steam properties. It can launched through Gaming Mode now.

Running with Lossless Scaling and low settings provide very playable experience. I tried fighting Wandering Wight but it keeps around 45~50fps with little frame drop.
