[C4 Ep38 Spoilers] Is it just me on the opinion that this episode was too drawn out with not much happening?

I don't think it was a bad episode but it felt like it could have been cut in half and not much of it would have been changed (i wish we got the talk with King Gus}. While obviously it is important to build up charcterisations and relationships with others it felt like it was mostly spinning its wheels in order to have the big Gus Talk in the next episode.

What do you think?

[C4 EP38] Intresting Comment by Laura in the Cooldown

Either this means there is going to be a break (i have my doubts on this considering the Halloween episode should be the 29th so it would have to least be a 2 week break) or we are going back to Schemers next episode for 1/2 weeks.

If John Constantine is in Injustice 3, what do you think his playstyle would be like?

John Constantine is one of the big requests for Injustice 3 and i think he is extremely likely (not confirmed just likely).

As for his playstyle - i really feel like it makes the most sense to make him a trapster - essentially playing someone who thinks several steps ahead with a trait focused on using various Magical Items that have one time use but have extremely short startup and you can use them in combos (with a pickup mechanic like Phoneix Wright in UMVC3)

How do you think Constantine should play in Injustice 3?

Do you think Injustice 3 will have less newcomers then I2 but bring backs several I1 charcters who did not make it in I2?

While i don't think this will be a case like MK1 where it is just Returners (i give that game a pass when several charcters had not been in Mortal Kombat). I do think it is likely that the roster will have a similar amount of newcomers in favour of bringing back several charcters who missed I1 with revamped movesets. For example:

I3 Roster:

I1 Returners:

-Batman

-Bane

-Zatanna

-Superman

-Wonder Woman

-Cyborg

-Catwoman

-Harley Quinn

-Aquaman

-Green Arrow

-Raven

-Lex Luthor

-The Joker

-Hawkgirl

-Doomsday

-Martian Manhunter

I2 Returners:

-Robin

-Starfire

-Supergirl

-Blue Beetle

I3 Newcomers:

-Constantine

-Mr Terrific

-Katana

-Peacemaker

-Static

-Captain Marvel (Mary)

What do you think of the Occtis being Marienna's son Theory?

There has been a theory going around that before Marienna met/married Kattigan and had Esmé, she was involved with the Tachonis in some fashion and had an affair with Primus - birthing Primus's final son - Occtis. Marienna was then forced to leave Occtis behind and would later meet Kattigan. Pepole have used this idea to explain why Marienna was targeted by Primus.

Personally i am mixed on the theory mostly because i feel like it reminds me a bit too much of Spider-Man's Sins Past which turned a random act by Norman Osborn to screw over Spider-Man's life by kidnapping Gwen Stacy into a personal/targeted attack since Gwen was very familar with Norman. I kinda prefer if it was just a random act of cruelty by someone who is very much a monster but what do you think?

When do you think we will see Expanded Media for Campaign 4 of Critical Role?

I am referring to books,comics of Araman/Campaign 4.

Obviously,it is going to be a while before anything gets animated but i could see them expanding on the world of Araman in the future.

What are your thoughts on Bolaire Lathalia's Motive?

We know from this episode, that Boliare's motives is essentially that he treats this whole conflict between them and the Sundered Houses as a war and his motive is to "win the war" but really its "is that he wants to get back to a world that is peace and quiet with friends that truly understand him" and the thinks that eliminating the Sundered Houses will fill that objective (or at the very least getting rid of Yanessa)

The thing is, we don't have a full reference of what Boliare's viewpoint of the world being in "peace and quiet" is. Like obviously he wants the Yanessa Halovar dead and he is working against the Sundered Houses but does it extend it further, does he want to create a world that fits his vision of peace and quiet or does he want to go back to the previous status quo.

Obviously, Bolaire keeps a lot of things close to the range so it will be intresting to see if his motive devlop over time.

What is your least favourite Playable Charcter playstyle? (charcter abilties and how the person uses them in combat/non-combat)

I am not speaking of the charcter's personality and backstory - i am more talking about a charcter's attacks list/abilities/spells and how they are used in combat and non-combat. Which charcters did you find overly complicated and tedious while in combat/non-combat.

Why do you think Occtis Tachonis and Juilen Davinos are the charcters with the most Fanfiction?

When you look at the most popular Campaign 4 charcters on Archive of Our Own,it goes.

Occtis Tachonis (625) Julien Davinos (592) Halandil Fang (450) Azune Nayar (385) Thaisha Lloy (380) Bolaire Lathalia (366) Thimble (Critical Role) (311) Vaelus (Critical Role) (260) Aranessa Royce (254) Kattigan Vale (253)

With Occtis and Julien massively pulling ahead in terms of fanfictions written, why do you think that's the case?

[Spoilers C4E34] - The Audio Version of Beacon's Cooldown is from a different Episode

For those who don't know - basically the audio version of the cooldown on Beacon is from the third Seekers 2.0 episode (likely Episode 36) while the video is from the second Seekers 2.0 episode so be wary of spoilers.

[Spoilers C4E32] - Pepole are underestimating Seekers 2.0 in terms of their fight capabilties

Don't get me wrong, there is always a chance for a player death or a TPK no matter how likely but i still think pepole are vastly underestimating the Seekers 2.0 as well as Brennan's whole style to combat.

Brennan likes to have a gradual build up in terms of fights as shown in the Soliders Arc where it gradually got tougher and tougher as the arc towent on and as such unless the team roles reaally poorly: i have my doubts that Brennan is going to Primus Tachonis just plump in and Kill Word them all - it wouldn't be particuarly good DMing and it wouldn't be fair on the players.

Even ignoring that aspect while the Seekers 2.0 lack reliable healing for the most part - when it comes to Dungeon and Dragons - killing your opponent before they can kill you is more important and when it comes to that the Seekers 2.0 have it made:

You have two fantastic damage dealers in Juilen and Thimble, you have Vaelus who can tank damage, you have Boliare who can empose disadvantages onto enemies, you have Kattigan with ranged attacks as well as using Feral Howl to frighten enemies and you have Occtis who can create flanking opportunies with his undead and provide a wide range of abilities.

Obviously Brennan is going to ramp up the difficulty going into Act 2 but i truly beleive that on paper - the Schemers should be able to come out on top in fights.

Even when looking in the scenario that is happening - they are not charging blindly against the Tachonis guards and have several allies with them plus everything that Ulbid Morn can bring with his eggs.

Obviously nothing is guaranteed but we will see on Friday.

C4's Potential Main Villains have fixed one of the issues C3's Main Villain Had.

When i talk about the potential main villains for C4 i am reffering to Yanessa Halovar and Primus Tachonis. I feel like they hobestly tixk one of the boxeses that the Campaign 3 main villain completly failed at - personal connection.

One of the problems with Ludinus Da'leth was a lack of meaningful interactions with Bells Hells even compared to previous villains.Bells Hells would never created a back and forth interaction.

Compare to Hal and Yanessa's whole conversation during last episode. It is made very clear that both of them hate each other and what they represent. It always felt for Ludinus he was like a brick wall.

What do you think?

Seekers 2.0 or Schemers 2.0?

Obviously we have just have had one episode with either group but in terms of potential interactions and party dynamics - who do you think will be the most enjoyable to watch overall?

Who is the most Overrated Relationship in Critical Role? (Official or Fan Created)

As someone who has been watching Campaign 4, i do not get the appeal behind Juilen/Occtis like they have decent interactions with each other but considering how loved this ship is on Archive of Our Own, i just straight up do not get the hype behind it when Occtis/Thimble is a lot better and i do not really ship Juilen with anyone (maybe Azune).

Who is the most Overrated Critical Role Charcter amongst the fanbase? (PCs and NPCs)

Personally i kinda feel like its Lucien,he is not an awful big bad but without Mollymauk connection - he feels like a bit of a sterotype of other JRPG big bads and should have been introduced earlier than he is.

That and he took focus away from Trent ikithon who should jave gotten morr focus then he did.
