Vet bills are expensive...

Hello reddit. I have vet bills I have to pay off in 6 to 12 months, but only make around 700 a month as a full time college student with 2 jobs. All of my money already goes towards bills and car insurance. I am wondering if anyone would be willing to help with my gofundme? Attached below is the link along with pictures of proof- and my cats. Even if you can just share the link, thatd be amazing♡ Thankyou

Guys do you ever just sit and think about yourself in other points of view as in the voice is narrating things from different points of you? Like the person of this body currently is sitting and thinking about how it is strange how there are different parts of the mind at play

Last week, my 16 y/o senior cat, cactus, started eating less and less. I got home Thursday and saw he was jaundice. I packed him up and rushed him to the emergency vet office. They said he was likely in liver failure and there were 2 things they could do. Euthanasia or 2 day hold where they give many meds, fluids and tube feed him to maybe save him, which would be thousands and thousands od dollars I don"t have.

I couldn't afford, so I did a take home treatment plan.

I got appetite stimulant, injection meds at the vet, and anti nausea meds, as well as instructed to only give him gapipentin if he were to throw up. If he wouldn't eat in 24 hours, euthanasia at home. I informed my aunt / vet sho instructed to instead give the gapapentin in the morning to help his discomfort, so I did.

I scheduled an appointment with my main vet who is also my aunt for the following morning. She figured he had a 50/50 shot. I was even aloud to hold him so they could do the ultrasounds to check, which usually they don't do. The emergency vets didnt let me and we're unable to do ultrasound on him.

He was prescribed another pill medicine to specifically help the liver and a second appetite stimulant to take with the other stuff.

We took the meds every day since, and he started eating! He has made it through the weekend and into the week because of the medicine and his own will to live (after a long night of crying into his fur begging him to not leave me yet). He is eating much food and acting so much more lively now, actively meowing at me for attention, super cuddly, sitting on my laptop as I do schoolwork again, following me around my room, and I even see his tail stand up straight and the tip shake / vibrate from how happy he is!!!

I am so freakin relieved, and he is even loosing the yellow tint!!!

I wanted to share that great news.
