Triggers all of them. My father threatened my life tonight. In very serious terms, he also threatened my dog and cat's lives. I called the police. They came out and pretty much said 'too bad, he has COPD and only mild dementia
Fast forward an hour and a half my father was actively strangling me. My neck is purple. Got away and used my neighbors phone to call the police AGAIN. Police again refused to arrest him, and I quote "he's on oxygen, we're not arresting him" said I should just leave. Which I would have but he took my purse that has my keys, driver's license and credit card in it.
Now I'm semi barricaded in my room. The lock is a basic bedroom lock. I have stacked everything i can on my side of this door. I have my cat and dog with me in here, as he kicked one and threatened to kill both.
I am so scared and so broken right now.
I will never be a caregiver again. This is too much. I love my dad, but I can't deal with this level of violence or attempts to end my life.
I will go to the DMV to get a license replacement tomorrow and to my bank for a temporary debit card so I go to a hotel for a few days until I figure out what to do.
My adult daughter is coming to get my dog. My 2 cats will be with me at a hotel. I can prob afford 2 weeks at one. I'm just terrified. Wish me luck.
All these brands that use to have 12 packs that switched to 8 packs only are irritating me. That's all. Rant over.

What's your hot takes. I LOVE short tube style (penne, rigatoni), but can eat all the rest other than fettuccine it just icks me out. Linguine is ok, but fettuccine is a no go for me.
