hi, i am a community college transfer student and submitted my fafsa late due to verification issues with one of my parent's email. i was told by a financial aid advisor from the college i was admitted to that since i submitted it after march 1st, im not eligible for a grant that would've covered tuition and fees.

is it still possible to negotiate with them so that i can receive the grant? i'm pell-grant eligible and my parents really can't afford the costs of college (30k+). if anyone has been in a similar situation and has some insight please share. thank you for reading

hi for those of you who are studying psychology at umd how is it? and would you say umd is better for psych than towson? ik towson had a clinical psych area of focus program but umd doesn't really have anything that stands out to me. but maybe i could be wrong. thanks for reading!
